The staff were all so attentive and truly made my stay comfortable and relaxed. The rooms are all…read moremodern and clean, and to have a small pool outside was a luxury when it was sunny. The bar / restaurant was busy every evening which indicates the atmosphere and quality of the food offerings. My advice is to pre-book any time you need a table as there were sufficient waits. The food is good but not great, but certainly fills a gap. Breakfast was great and I actually preferred it to the the evening meals which is a rarity for me. The one evening that I did have to wait for an evening table, I made use of beautiful cliff walks just a few minutes away from the hotel with stunning views, so I can complain at all.

The staff members…read morewe encountered were extremely friendly and helpful, even with our ridiculous American questions. It was so convenient they all spoke English well. They went above and beyond what we could had expected and made our trip to Saint Malo that much better. The hotel is located right across the beach, with amazing sunset views. Fort National is right there, only accessible during low tide. The walled city is a five minute walk, and has so much to offer, especially food. The tourism office is right on the way towards the walled city. Our first day, or night I should say, was the worst possible start of a trip in the history of ever; but this hotel and it's wonderful, cheerful, helpful staff came right in and saved our trip. They made our first night super relaxed and enjoyable, though we'd been through hell. We can't recommend this hotel enough, it was really exactly what we needed to be able to reset ourselves and enjoy our trip after a terrible flight/car rental/arrival/stranded mishap (thanks for nothing Expedia -_-)
