Not like some hotels where the staff are like Jekyll and Hyde, some are nice and some are nasty. Our room was spacious, a classic double room with a balcony. The bathroom mirror had a built-in magnifying mirror. The bed had a lot of big pillows and a thick mattress pad. It was very comfortable. Breakfast was very good. Lots of selections. I was fine with that, but I remember the little fridge working fine last time. Drinks were ice cold. This time nada. My colleagues also. It just was cool not cold. Must be a French summer electricity saving thing. Also tried the gym for first time, and it wasn't happening. Equipment looked like hadn't been used in ages and was stuck, needing oil. Went for a walk instead. Actually tried the lunch one time and it was great. The bar is decent and servers are great. You have to ask for ice at the bar and depending on the server, you'll either get a tall drinking glass full of ice or a small one. One time the server gave me an entire big bucket. They should make that standard. Not a lot of hangers so had to ask for more. The parking garage underneath is extremely convenient, as well as the location. Plenty of quick sandwich shops and other fine restaurants. Definitely recommend.

For North Americans reading this review, the quality of the rooms and beds are like a Hampton Inn or Fairfield Inn, but at EUR 170 a night (USD 220)! If you have to attend a conference at the WTC some time between September and March, then the convenience of the hotel beats having to bear the rain and/or cold during that time of year.
