This was the first hotel my wife and I stumbled across on our last holiday to Brittany. We only chose it since we didn't want to lug our bags about any longer - in hindsight, we should have lugged the bags a bit more and got a nicer hotel! The decor is dated and very shabby (e.g. there are plastic-covered lights recessed into the carpet on the stairs, which have mostly been smashed) and the room was pretty poor. As with most hotels in Dinard, there seemed to be no TV reception (not much of an issue for us since we're not fluent anyway!). The room we were given was very hot at night (August) and the window opened onto a busy road which was quite noisy. The walls had several pretty bad damp patches, and some of the power points were loose and coming away from the wall. The beds were not terribly comfortable, and there weren't any spare pillows (which would be good since the pillows were very thin and you only get one each!). The hotel was actually one of the more expensive in the vicinity, and was really not worth it. The staff were friendly, but it didn't make up for how rubbish the room was! The only plus point was that it's close to the beach. read more
