Extremely Disappointed in Quality and Customer Service…read more I've been purchasing leather for many years, and unfortunately this was the poorest quality hide I've ever received. I was a first‑time customer during their Facebook Live sale in December. When the deer hide arrived, it was nothing like what was shown or described. The hide is extremely stiff, dry‑rotted, and makes a crunchy sound when bent. It's completely unusable, and I wouldn't feel right reselling it to anyone. When I reached out privately about the issue, my message was ignored. I then attempted to post in the group to ask whether this was their typical deer hide quality, but my post was deleted and never made visible to others. I eventually received a response from the owner, Penny, who stated that all hides sold were "craft grade" and that I should have known that. However, at no point on the flyer, in the posts, or during the live sale was "craft grade" ever mentioned. I've purchased many craft‑grade hides from other suppliers over the years and have never received anything close to this level of poor quality. For me, this purchase was a complete loss, and the hide will be going in the trash. I will also be sharing photos of the hide and the response I received so others can make an informed decision.

She had a great selection of things that most horse owners would commonly need when getting to a horse show out of state. The prices are a little bit higher than what I'm used to in ohio, but she is in a fairly remote location, so the fact that she was there at all is pretty impressive. I was very grateful that I was able to get two out of the three items that I needed to satisfy my trip. If I attend the same horse show next year, and I need supplies again, I would happily patronize her store.
