There were other diners about, and patrons at the bar it but it was understandably not full at that time of day. The decor was nostalgic and befitting a spot on the marina. The waitstaff were efficient, friendly, and accommodating. We shared an unexpectedly tall slice of their yummy banoffee pie to end the meal. If this were in my neighborhood, I'd dine in often!

As for their fish and chips, the fish was really good; light / flakey with minimal grease. Chips were average thick cut fries; nothing special there. Mushy peas, which they called "crushed peas", are about what they sound like - smooshed English peas, which is what they tasted like. Again, nothing special. The purple coleslaw was good; nice flavor. They use purple cabbage, which gives it the unique color, but seems fairly common in England.
