I'm glad that picking up your luggage after you arrive was faster than most airports. As for the employees, some don't seem like they want to work there. You got some very grumpy, old Canadians working there. Immigration was very simple and straightforward. Waiting for your rideshare was kind of slow even though not much traffic. I did not hear any noise ~ building is set back off the streets. 5 miles from center city ~ about 20 minutes & $20 with Uber. Healthy Breakfast from 5-11am / Checkout @ noon.

The staff was friendly enough and spoke English well. The location is excellent, close to old Quebec City (directly down the same road) and the touristy areas, plus directly across the street from several major malls and shopping centers. I loved the room, it was cozy and comfortable, with comfortable chairs, a good bed, and it was clean. TV had both French channels and Anglophone channels including CNN. There is an indoor pool and a restaurant on site, neither of which I tried. My only beef, and it's small considering parking was free, was that the parking lot kind of sucked. Yes, it was partially covered, but was not a garage like every other place I stayed. Note that they do have an EV charging spot. BUT the open-air lot meant the snow came in at the edges and the poor quality of the parking surface, full of cracks and some potholes, meant that there were streams of ice and black ice all over the place. It was not the most fun I've had dragging bags inside. Also, maybe this is what that yahoo meant, but you do have to lug your bags up about five stairs to get in the door on the first floor that takes you to the elevator. If you have really heavy stuff, I'd suggest taking it in the front door first. Bottom-line: Given the excellent (Priceline) price and comfortable accommodations, plus the excellent location (from which you can drive and park at a downtown garage near the Plains of Abraham (and Indigo lot in our case....just don't get lost on your way back with your phone dead as it gets dark like we did!!) I would definitely return next time I'm in Quebec City. All the complaints I had were minor, and outweighed by the excellent price, great room, convenient location, and free parking.

When we arrived, we rang the door bell twice and waited without knocking or even talking as it was dark inside and we knew that people were sleeping. When she answered, the lady / owner didn't even introduce herself to us, opened the door out of breath as if she had a heart attack. As soon as she opened the door she started yammering on about how late it was and people are sleeping (even though we weren't that noisy we just wanted to get in). Nonetheless, we kept apologizing as it was in a way our fault even though it wasn't in our control. So she leads in our room in a very tense and uncomfortable way. We slept the night away and tried to forget about her rudeness. The next morning during breakfast, she was still cold with us (despite the many apologies) and in general very unfriendly. We were so uncomfortable there we couldn't wait to get out. Our experience was filled with negative energy and bitterness. As an owner of a B&B, the only reason people come to stay instead of a large hotel is the friendly service, smile and kindness of the owner. You have to work hard to make your guests/clients feel comfortable and happy, not the opposite. This B&B owner needs lots of training in customer service. As for the room, we stayed in the Printemps it was ok except for the creepy vintage wedding dress and veil hanged behind the door... looked like a dead bride's skeleton... This was one of most uncomfortable places I have ever been and all because of a small incident that should have been handled much better by the owner. No surprise I won't be recommending it to anyone.

We arrived before check-in and were told we could leave our bags on the first floor while we explored the city. By the time we returned, the owner had taken all our bags up the stairs to our rooms. Breakfast was self-serve - fruit and warm croissants included. Beds were comfortable. Bathrobes in closet. TV in room. WiFi inconsistent. Some chipping paint. Very reasonable rates.
