Overall a nice spa facility but there's definitely room for improvement. I gave it 4 stars for my…read moregreat massage and various amenity services but... The pros: The facility is modern and clean with a lot of amenities including various hot tubs, steam and dry sauna, ice room, hot stone lounge chairs, quiet room to rest, salt room, and lounge area. They also host an Aufguss sauna experience every hour in their entertainment sauna room. The snacks and drinks were delicious which included mini muffins, mini cookies, nuts, bananas, teas, coffee, and sparkling and still water. The staff is friendly, professional, and approachable. They were great about cleaning up the areas and restocking towels, snacks, and shower amenities. My massage was really great from Misty as well. I highly recommend booking your service as soon as possible. The cons: let's start off with the overstimulating, loud environment in the shared co-ed spaces from everyone talking like they are at happy hour. It's hard to relax and enjoy the supposed spa ambiance around crowds of people who are all talking loudly. The noise amplifies and echoes inside. They need to limit the number of guests and tell people they can only talk in the sitting area outside. They crack down on phone use (which I feel should be allowed as long as people are not talking on the phone) but don't tell guests to be quiet. The locker rooms need more than a small bench in each section. It's only big enough for 1-2 people. The showers need to have hooks or hangers for our towels and robes. Note: it is less busy after 3-4pm so if you want to enjoy the spa in peace and with minimal people, go after that time. I took these pictures around 6pm. After paying over $300, I want to feel like I'm at a spa, not another bar on the Strip. If Lapis Spa can work on controlling the noise level, I'd consider returning.

The spa is nice, although it was much smaller than I thought it would be. I liked doing the cold plunge after the sauna and napping in the heated chairs. I didn't like that they didn't have bathroom amenities like hair dryers and razors out and available. I feel like they should just provide them without us having to ask. However, the massage I got was incredible and the best part. I have to give a shout out to Henry. I have chronic pain and was suffering from a flare up when I visited. The pain relief I got from the massage was so great that it made me cry. He knew all the areas on my back and arms I was feeling pain without me telling him and he used just the right pressure to relieve the muscles. I hadn't felt that good and relaxed in years. Thank you so much! I wouldn't go back just for the spa but I will definitely go back every time I visit for a massage and spa. We already booked our next trip and will be staying at Fountainebleau for this!

I'd give this Korean spa about 3.5 stars overall. The place itself was very clean, and I honestly…read morehave to say they had a lot of amenities. Every room felt unique, and I really enjoyed exploring the different spa areas. The woman who did my body scrub was AMAZING. She was incredibly thorough and seriously got every inch of my body. The massage afterward also felt fantastic. My skin honestly never felt so soft and smooth afterward -- literally baby soft. That said, there were a few downsides. First, I was surprised they don't provide slippers. I've been to several Korean spas in LA and San Francisco, and I've never experienced one where you either had to bring your own or purchase it there. And they had nothing to dry your hair or curl your hair after you were done with your services. No Q-tips, no tissues, no hair ties, hairspray, deodorant, or anything. Also, I'm not from Vegas, so I had no idea about the area until the Uber dropped us off, but the neighborhood felt very sketchy and honestly a little scar. The inside of the spa felt completely fine and safe, but the outside surroundings definitely caught me off guard. In fact, the Uber guy, who had dropped me off, told me not to wait outside. As across the street was a place where you go in for parole and to check your ankle monitor. I also felt the woman at the front desk could have been more welcoming or informative. Most Korean spas I've visited usually give first-time guests a quick tour or explanation of the amenities, but that didn't happen here, which made it feel a little awkward at first. Unfortunately, I didn't get a chance to try the restaurant since I arrived right when they opened in the morning and it wasn't open yet. Overall though, despite a few issues, the scrub service alone was worth the visit.

Ok, I just found out that the spa passes are now at $60. It was $45 in April. Wow, in less than 6…read moremonths and you tack on a nice 33% increase. That makes it no longer worth it to me. The place isn't as clean as it should be, and it always killed me that they never provided sandals. Someone messaged me on Yelp! that they were available for request at the front desk. But actually, they weren't available the next time I used the spa. I likely would have been back at least a handful of times but there is no way I am walking around all the wet areas with no sandals. Hell, no actually. Between that and the price hike, I am likely done with Imperial Health Spa. 2 stars.

Everyone else gave her 5 stars, and ya know what? They were right!…read more First timer here- I usually don't pamper myself, but I felt like I needed a facial after all the mask wearing I've been doing. I google searched places, did some research, saw Kristins amazing reviews and I booked her. I opted for the Gentleman's Retreat Facial. Everything went well, she communicated everything she was doing every step of the way, and was very concerned for my well being during the treatment. The reason being my face was a mess for my first time. So, she had to do some somewhat unpleasant things to it to make she she got in deep where all the issues were. She apologized for the torture, and said we can take breathers anytime. But I'm a man, so I said keep going and only cried a little (joke!) But as I told her another Aesthetician told me, "beauty is pain." =D We had a nice laugh about that. The bonus was the neck and shoulder massage every step of the way while my face had on a different treatment mask. She sold me on the combo facial and 60 minute massage next time. Kristin knows her trade very well. And she is passionate about it too- she even did a little touch up on my eyebrows (I got them threaded like 3 weeks ago). They were holding up, but she NEEDED to fix a few stragglers separating from the herd. She gave me facial upkeep tips, and was very informative all around. She gave me so much information that she almost forgot to charge me when she opened the door to let me leave! I had to ask her where to pay. That's how much you know someone loves their craft. All in all 10 stars if I could. Go to her and you won't be disappointed.

Last week, a friend and I decided to take a day off and enjoy a little self-care. We wanted to find…read morea scalp spa that could accommodate two walk-ins, so after calling several places with no luck, we found Siyu Hair Spa. It turned out to be one of the best decisions we made that day. Charlie, who handles the appointments, was incredibly friendly and accommodating. Even though it was a busy Saturday, he was able to fit both of us in that afternoon. From the very first phone call, he made us feel welcome and even offered a few additional amenities that made us look forward to our visit. When we arrived, Lucy greeted us with a warm smile. We were offered water and some delicious cookies before being escorted to a private room with two massage chairs, where we were able to enjoy the experience together. I've been to several scalp spas, including some very high-end ones, so I had something to compare it to. I can honestly say I was pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed my experience here. The service was relaxing, thoughtful, and never felt rushed. The treatment started with a wonderful facial and scalp massage before moving into the scalp therapy itself. Every step felt calming and professional. At the end of the treatment, they offered to blow-dry my hair, which was a nice touch. Since I have very thick hair and planned to dry it at home, I declined, but Lucy still applied what I believe was a peppermint or eucalyptus scalp treatment along with a leave-in hair product. I was honestly amazed by the results. When I blow-dried my hair at home, it felt incredibly soft, healthy, and smooth. Even several days later, my hair still feels softer than usual. I'll definitely be going back for another treatment, and I plan to purchase whatever product Lucy used because it made such a noticeable difference. If you're looking for a relaxing Japanese or Korean-style hair spa experience with genuinely kind people and excellent customer service, I highly recommend Siyu Hair Spa. Charlie and Lucy made us feel like valued guests from beginning to end, and I look forward to coming back. I'm always happy to support a wonderful local business like this!

I absolutely love a good Groupon deal. In which I found one for a full-packaged deal for 90min…read moretreatment for $80. My girlfriend did the 75min for a little less. But somehow we ended up with the same time. We had a 10am appointment, walking in we were greeted. There is not much English spoken, so it was a little tough to understand how this service went. We did manage. The two caretakers were very polite and did a great job otherwise. First, they take photos of your scalp so you can see a visual of perhaps what treatment plan is best. Then, they take you back to these comfy massage chairs and cover you up so you're nice and snug like a hug. Thereafter, you get to relax and enjoy your hair treatment! When you're finished, you get a little bit of blow dryer and brushing with a little massage. Nothing too fancy but certainly a nice addition. If you do a Groupon, just remember to tip your caretakers! One thing I had wished was to get a blowout afterwards, but they do not do hair care in that way. We enjoyed this establishment very much. Would love to come again in the future.

My girlfriend was kind enough to book and prepay for a 90-minute deep tissue massage for me, and decided to book one for herself at the same time. The first 45 minutes were spot on. The original masseuse found the knots in my back, neck, shoulders, and left hip and went straight to work. But midway through the session, someone else entered the room and took over without warning. First off, her hands were freezing. Second, she was completely worthless--zero pressure, no deep tissue work at all, just loads of oil and light rubbing. She "worked" on my right leg, but did absolutely nothing to address the muscle tension. By the end of the session, I was drenched in oil and literally walking with a limp because my left leg had been properly massaged by the first person, but my right leg received zero actual treatment. To make matters worse, when my girlfriend (who had the same masseuse for her entire session) approached the manager about why my therapist was switched, the manager's excuse was: "Oh, because it was her turn." No apology whatsoever. The manager just casually said, "When he comes back, he can request the full session be with the original masseuse." There will not be a next time. Terrible customer service, zero care for a client in pain, and completely unprofessional management. I would never recommend Thai Spa on Eastern Ave.
