I originally rated them highly for getting rid of hazing on the hood of my black car but after 4-5 car washes, its back. I suspect they only waxed it over. Yesterday I called to discuss this and all they offered was a discount to correct the situation. They seem to lack communication at the start of a job, and later when it comes to correcting a mistake. I cannot recommend them. read more

Very ordinary experience. If you need a quick car wash I guess this place is okay. It cleans the majority of your car and it leaves fresh odor. But if you are into the details, I guess this place has some room for improvement. I went with their $60 option (I guess it's the medium level service) plus 10 bucks tips. My car has many spots that were either not cleaned or not clean enough. The side of the rear view mirror, the front seat doors, the trunk doors etc. but I guess it's just the same good as the $60 auto car wash? A good friend recommended me to Hydros Auto Spa and they didn't disappoint. I initially called Hydros to get a quote and a description of the service and differences between the ceramic coating packages (I did the Ceramic Pro Gold Package). I talked to Dianna over the phone and she was able to provide me with a quote and explain the process to me. She also let me know that it would be slightly cheaper because my car was just warped in XPEL so there was no paint correction of detailing needed, which I didn't know. (VERY HONEST) I went in to get the car washed to visit the place and make an appointment for the ceramic coating, I met with Edwin who walked me through the shop and the process. They did a great job washing the car and it was on the house (GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE). I dropped the car off in the middle of the week and Edwin keep me informed on the progress. I love this place for all my Detailing needs. Not only is the quality of work above and beyond expectations, but Diane and Edwin are the cutest couple. It's nice to see family's businesses flourish. (Updating this to add more due to the response) no competitor sent me here to write a review you guys didn't offer me a refund once, you told me you would fix the scratch and all you want in return is for me to remove my review. The pictures clearly show the mirrors were cleaned and not properly wiped afterwards leaving nasty swirl marks everywhere. The last picture was taken in different lighting, in order to visibly show the physical damage. Instead of assuming that I was sent here to write a biased review, this business should focus on how to properly react to negative reviews. The worst place to do your detailing by far, they changed me 400$ for detailing and told me to come after 7 hrs, when I came back to pick up my car, the guy comes up to me and tells me that my car is all finished, I go and look at the car and the car looks the same, only the outside was a little shinMing, the inside was all the same, they didn't shampoo nothin inside the car, the stains were everywhere, didn't shampoo the the roof from inside, didn't clean between the seats, didn't clean the buttons/radio, didn't clean under the seats or vacuumed, didn't put no leather conditioner as they sad they would, didn't compound the front or the back bumper, and didn't clean or shined the engine as they sad they would, I was sent there as recommended, and I am very disappointed, I would never go back there again. read more

Edwin & Diana are the absolute best at what they do and make sure to treat your car like their own. I just had my Range Rover Velar wrapped in Xpel Stealth, and couldn't be happier with the results. Despite the manufacturer having an issue with part of the material that could have led to a months long delay, they put their heads together and figured out how to get the job done and get it done right. I've also had my car washed here a few times, and won't be going anywhere else but Hydros Auto Spa in the future. Unless you live next store to these guys and are able to watch them... I'd avoid them. You can do a lot better. Here is my experience. First do NOT buy the detailing GROUPON (mine cost $150.00). They won't honor it for a real detail job (compounding/buffing) and you'll have to schedule weeks in advance. (read the fine print) I ended up spending $400 +$20 tip for the following: Timing: 3 days. I was told it only take 1 day. I still had to wait an hour on the 3rd day. Exterior came out ok but they didn't do the headlights. Interior - average at best for a regular $40 deluxe car wash. The trunk still had leaves in it (not sure how they missed that) , between the seats were dust and dirt. Damage that I noticed on my way home and a couple of days later. 1) Rear view mirror ... needs to be completely replaced 2) Glove box won't open (still trying to figure out what they did it to it) 3) Ripped the trim off the driver's side door area read more

I always see such fancy cars at this place, so when I brought my used economy SUV, I admit I felt a little embarrassed. They didn't treat me poorly whatsoever. The previous owner of my vehicle was a smoker and the cigarette odor had seeped into every nook and cranny imaginable, over the course of several years. With their deepest cleaning option, Hydros Auto Spa promised to completely remove the odor. When I could still smell it after the first clean, they went at again and fully removed it the second time around. They are so kind and helpful and I am truly thankful to them. I have had my car for 3 years and I went in for a full shampoo interior with leather treatment and exterior clay bar and wax. My car looked BRAND NEW like the first time I bought it. Normally I hand wash my car but I didn't have time and it was filthy and covered in salt from a road trip so I figured I'd give Hydros a shot. Attention to detail is definitely not their strong suit here, unless maybe you drive a Lambo or something. There were still a ton of streak marks and water spots all over my car, especially in the areas you may be less likely to notice (grill, door jambs, mirrors etc). They quoted me a great price, and when the car was ready the next day... WOW! I felt like my 1998 Audi A4 was fresh off the showroom. Now fast forward to this past Tuesday, I decided to look these guys up again (found out they changed locations - still in Astoria though!) after years of not having my own person vehicle. I brought in my new Challenger and my good old friend Edwin greets me at the entrance.
