Not knowing what to expect we were so pleasantly suprised. The boxes were by the front gate and as soon as we entered we were greated by a nice lady. We looked at the boxes, decided which ones we wanted and a worker came over and loaded them in our van. We didn't need to load anything. I paid the lady on her phone and she texted me a reciept. It was a long drive but kind of nice. We drove along the Sacramento river for great scenery. Thanks again Trees Outlet for a great product and buying experience.

We had hired several vendors to come in with food, decor/ balloons and a bar service. The party went off without any issues and the guests loved the location. Mona and Ines were delightful to work with and put all my questions at ease. We had about 45-50 people at the party, which was a great number of guests for the site size and room to move around and so forth. Not only are there a bunch of plants to choose from, the owners there are super kind and helpful! I went to buy bonsai trees for my mom's birthday and there were tons of options. I asked the lady for advice and she was able to help me narrow down which plants were best indoor, which were best outdoor, and how much they were. As others stated, prices aren't listed so you have to ask the owner how much the plants are, but they are fairly priced in my opinion. The owner was also helpful when it came to giving advice on how often to water the plants, where they should stay to get the best light, and answered all our questions. I ended up getting a ficus (left) and a juniper (right). When our ficus wasn't doing so well, we brought it back into the nursery hoping for answers on how we could better take care of it or plants like it in the future. Not only was she able to examine it, trimmed it, and showed us how to water it, she even went ahead and repotted a new one for us! We weren't expecting to even get a new ficus, but she went out of her way to find us another ficus, teach us how to take better care of it. This is one of the best shops I've ever been to as they truly care about their plants and their customers. We were just expecting to receive advice on how our ficus was dying and we ended up getting a new plant to start our journey again. No matter if you're a beginner or an expert, definitely give this place a go for some good service from the owners and some pretty plants!

I want to be more water-wise in my gardening and also give back to my environment and start planting more native plants in my little piece of the earth--plants that are good for the birds, the pollinators and other creatures that may visit my yard. It hasn't been easy for me to identify nurseries in my area that grow native plants for sale. While traveling through Sacramento, I had a little extra time before returning home. I decided to search the area for a native plant nursery. Thankfully, Mother Natives showed up on my Yelp search. The nursery is small but mighty. It is nestled along an unassuming industrial street to the south east of Fresno City College--not too far of a detour from the freeway (it is in between highways 99 and 5), and has a small gravel parking lot adorned by beautiful murals and native garden patches. I found the nursery on a cold and quiet February morning, and enjoyed looking around, as they had everything I was looking for. If you're looking for native grasses, herbs, berries, trees, or shrubs, you'll find what your looking for. Service was excellent, and the staff member (possibly owner?) took time answering all my questions and helping me find the right plants for my zone and for what my needs were. Many native plants are slow-growing, and they were offered in different sizes and at reasonable prices. I left with more plants than I expected to bring home (all happily planted and growing well--several weeks later), but fewer plants than I would have liked. I will definitely make this a stop on any path that takes me through Sacramento when they are open. This is a great find--and I hope they are around for a long time!

Don't let that one factor deter you, this place is a gem and they have a lot of different selection that we couldn't find anywhere else in the area.
