Visiting FGCU and this was the most reasonably priced hotel in the area, and it was amazing! The location felt like the center of everything. Shopping galore all around and super close to FGCU. The surrounding neighborhood was very upscale. The room was very large, clean and well maintained.

Hotel staff is very nice, rooms are nice and clean. I just wish the gym had more. A cable machine and some yoga mats would be fantastic. Definitely yoga or stretch mats would be nice.

Nice and clean hotel well located right next to an exterior shopping mall. Free wifi and free breakfast. Very kind staff. Large rooms. I stayed in room 405 and it's pretty spacious, it has a living room, office space+ a fridge. I really enjoyed it.

We stayed over one night here -- just a quick stop-- and it worked out great. The hotel is cheerful and comfortable. The reception desk staff was very personable and even wrote his name --Ryan! -- on the keycard envelope for us; I haven't seen this done before. We wanted to stay in for the evening & watch the Golden Globes & this could not have been any better! First of all, our guest room was extremely nice--very large and attractive. I thought it was super for the cost: $165 with all taxes. There was a big sofa and a table and refrigerator. Next door is a big shopping center so it was easy just to walk over & pick up soup & salad & bring back. It was cool that evening so we were cozy & comfy in our very nice hotel room! I recommend the Hyatt Coconut Point to all my fellow Yelpers!

Very dirty comforters

THIS HOTEL IS FILTHY. I had a horrible experience here, we had to change rooms 2 times, the first room smelled musty and had stains everywhere on the sheets, the ceiling also looked like it was about to collapse with a huge crack. The second room was even more disgusting, there were hairs all over the sheets and the comforter was covered in what looked like mold. There was also what looked like bodily fluids all over the bed skirts. The rooms are so dated and have a motel vibe. Please see attached pictures.

This hotel is at a mall. It's nice. Free wi fi,free breakfast and free parking. The hotel was clean. I was supposed to stay at Hyatt in Ft meyers they couldn't accommodate me. So I'm 20 minuets from where I want to be. I booked the other hotel because I had an event 2 miles away. This hotel is very nice. My only complaint is I turned the thermostat up and it won't stay at what I set it at the room was freezing despite me turning off the air conditioning.

Very nice hotel. I was here for a business trip this week and just got back…read more PROS: -Great customer service. Someone else noted on here that they always open the lobby doors for you, which is a nice touch. They also offered me a bottle of water or champagne, I believe it was, upon check-in, I did see the champagne and figured it was for people with status, but I guess not! -Lovely rooms with lots of space, I received one with two queen beds, even though I was just by myself. I also had a partial view of the pool. I ended up going to a lot of the rooms this trip because that's where my meetings were, and one of them had a really nice pool view and sitting area so that must've been a suite. -Pretty nice pool area. I walked around it my first night here and I finally got to use it on my third night. Do note that the lazy river area and waterslides all close at 6 PM, which made it difficult as my meetings usually went until five or 6 PM. There are maybe 5 pools including an adults pool (ages 17+). -Meeting spaces were all very nice but kinda spread apart ... a bit of a walk sometimes. CONS: -The shower in my room had very weak water pressure, I think because the knob that you turned to get it from bath to shower was not functioning correctly. (however: the bath tub was very nice ... one picky thing, though, the shampoo and conditioner and body wash are mounted on the wall so that's really difficult to use if you're taking a bath...) -You definitely need a car to get around (or Uber). I did DoorDash 2 of the 3 nights because of this. -On my last night doing DoorDash, the restaurant I ordered from didn't give me any utensils. I called the hotel restaurant to see if they could bring me some, and they said yes, but never did ... rather disappointing. This property was probably 4.5/5 from me so I'm rounding up to a 5, and I'd definitely stay here again. I'm pretty sure our conference rate was really reasonable as well, I believe it was $179 per night before taxes.

They were so respectful of the guests and kept our tables immaculately cleared. Access to the island by boat was a surprise and thoroughly enjoyable. Plus, the captain and boat crew were focused on ensuring patrons had a positive experience by slowing for bird and dolphin sightings and their willingness to take family pictures. In addition, our room was incredible with three balconies and two amazing views. The gym was also nice; all the machines were clean and working, plus it was well equipped. For such a fancy hotel, I was quite surprised there was nowhere to find water. I expected a fruity water station somewhere near the entry, a standard in high-end hotels today. I was also surprised the concierge could not provide a running map. Even with the local construction, the path right out the front door is nice and separated from traffic. I found the run to Target (for a cool coffee drink) was perfect for a 5-miler. Surely the 10-mile option would include even more treats. Having the front doors opened every time anyone approached the front of the hotel was a nice touch.

The staff here is very friendly and I was greeted immediately upon entering the lobby. They acknowledged the small requests I made and accepted all of them. Check-in was a breeze and I was quickly in my room. The rooms are very spacious and comfortable. The beds were super comfy and the pillows were amazingly fluffy. The rooms were very updated and I didn't notice one thing out of the ordinary! My only problem is there are almost no outlets to plug in your items, near the beds. Breakfast was amazing and the hours are very perfect for someone that might sleep in a little. They had yogurt, fresh blended smoothies (amazing), make your own waffles and fruit amongst other things. Everything about this hotel was great except the lack of outlets in the room!

We interacted with Jalyn in person, and Stefan via text at the front desk. Both were very personable and professional. We brought our two cats with us on the trip, and there is a $75 pet fee which was a lot lower than other hotels we looked at. They also allowed two pets per room, when other properties only allowed one. That was our main reason for picking this hotel. The beds were super comfy (we were in a King Size room), the lobby was well maintained with fruit infused water and great coffee (with little flavored creamer pods, which I appreciated). After the great check-in process with Jalyn, we headed to our room to get our cats settled. In the first room we were in (201), we noticed a weird sticky liquid leaking onto the carpet from the air conditioning unit. Since we didn't know what it was (condensation or Freon or what). we didn't want to chance it with our cats in the room (possibly licking it) if it was a chemical. We called down to the front desk to voice our concerns, and they were very apologetic and completely understood our concerns. They moved us to another room (222), with the same layout and bed size and everything. This new room did not have the leaking air unit but it did have its own issues. The box spring was torn under the bed so our cats were getting into it (and again, we weren't sure of the safety of that, if there are nails or splinters inside there). After they kept getting in there no matter what we did to block it, we stopped by the front desk to ask for a stapler to reattach the boxspring fabric ourselves. They did house a lot of displaced folks during a recent hurricane (which is awesome of them), along with their pets so maybe another mischievous little guy did that boxspring damage. The other issue we had was that the toilet would clog very easily with the smallest amount of toilet paper. We got a plunger from the front desk to try to fix that problem, but it seemed like it was definitely a plumbing issue that should be looked at. And on the last night, while trying to get some sleep for a super early flight the next day, I saw my two cats both freaking out and chasing something. It was a large bug coming out of the bathroom that then scurried into the front closet. It was either a roach or a palmetto bug, but whatever it was, it was not a nice sight to see and I did not get a wink of sleep after that. At 4am, I tried to make the coffee in the room's little kitchen area, but the coffee maker was the kind that took coffee pods and the little basket of coffee items only had packets of coffee grounds, not pods. Another letdown, for this tired girl. Overall, the hotel's main areas are pretty nice, the staff members we interacted with were amazing, but the rooms (the most important part) left a few things to be desired, unfortunately.

The bathrooms are roomy, the bedroom wasn't like a cruise ship cabin, full size shampoo , conditioner and body wash, super clean. Only suggestion, ambient lighting in the bathroom is not great for putting on makeup unless there was an issue with our room because it was fine dining lighting in the rest room. Other than that , it was spectacular. Literally nicer than the high end hotel we stayed at in down town Chicago. Who knew?

As with all Residence Inns, there was a fully equipped kitchen (including frig, all silverware and plates, microwave, etc.) There is plenty of free parking at this hotel. There was a nice gym on the first floor (I didn't use it!), and a beautiful outdoor pool area - complete with bbq grill and lots of seating. The breakfast in the morning was wonderful. Full breakfast buffet (with REAL plates, not Styrofoam! Yay!) that was amazing. The breakfast eating are is bright and clean with plenty of tables. This area is excellent if you are a shopper. I like that you're provided with plenty of pillows & the sheets are always clean. Also the air conditioner works great, which is huge make or break for me. Clean & nice are 2 words that come to mind when I think of Drury Hotels & this one was no different. It's always a good thing to see the staff actively cleaning & I saw that multiple times during my single-night stay. Some amenities include a nice sized pool, a gym with some free weights/cardio equipment, an office with computers/printers, a free soda machine & also fresh popcorn available in the lobby. One of the main reasons I choose to stay at Drury is for their "5:30 kickback." Every day from 5:30-7:00 there's a rotating menu that's served buffet-style. They also give each guest a card for 3 drinks to enjoy with their meal (beer, wine & mixed beverages included). While admittedly I'm not a fan of the food offerings some days, I always have a good time enjoying the beverages. Being located inside the Gulf Coast Town Center is a big positive. Location-wise it's right in the center of Estero. If you're looking to get some shopping done or find a place to eat you're sure to have great options to choose from.
