The insurance company hasn't even contacted my son who was injured in an accident that also involved another company transporting an autistic individual on the way to an appointment. The driver gave 0 indication of slowing or stopping. Didn't slow down, no brake lights. Just slammed the transport car in front of them with their large service truck and came to a sudden stop. The photos that show just how far he pushed that car into oncoming traffic are astounding. State trooper found the driver at fault, with multiple witnesses, but this company refuses to do the right thing. Common decency is not a lot to ask. WE provided insurance with all the information. Their driver hadn't even filed it or spoke with them a week later according to their own adjuster. The driver didn't get out to check on anyone they had injured at the site. It's been about 2 months and it is radio silence. I reached out to Romar twice, all that was wanted was fair compensation for the ER bill, wages, and totaled vehicle. My son worked hard to purchase that vehicle for himself and has over an hour commute to work. This company is not compassionate or caring as they present to be. Basic accountability and reasonable understanding and responsibility is all that was required of them. Bon chance, good luck, if you decide to do business with this company. Character counts and reveals itself in many aspects. There has been 0 communication on this matter from them or their insurance company. One knows when they are in the wrong. Romar Elevators actively made the decision to avoid responsibility. Accidents happen, but what has followed has been willful ignorance and neglect. The accident occurred on Rt. 41 in front of the Dollar General. In the morning hours on his way to work about 2 months ago. I have photos and some contacts.
