It is located within a nice, but expensive hotel, right in the centre of Kolding. It is a nice place to have a coffee and a cake, there's a relaxed atmosphere. Its clean inside, with typical Danish designer furniture, and lit candles on every table, even in the day. The menu is very wide ranging. The salmon sandwiches are excellent. They also serve great Danish brunches, and my favourite, the English breakfast! So for British wanting a taste of home, its the only place you'll find an English breakfast being served, anywhere in South Jutland. I have never had an evening meal there, but I expect it also to be great, given my past experiences there. If you are staying at the hotel, you must eat there, if you are in the area, you should go there, even if only for a coffee or sandwich.

I can see other reviewers complaining about the beverage prices, but they did not strike me as being higher than in other similar establishments (bearing in mind DK drinks are ALWAYS ridiculously overpriced!). The food was fine without being great - except for the pizza, which was awesome in an Italian way - so not the American version with cheese-n-stuf to the extreme. Service was reasonable, with a couple of helpful and smiling people that might not have trained at high-end establishments, but got the job done in a way we all enjoyed - including the 2 1/2 year old... Given a chance, we'll probably be back.
