One of the best places to eat in Kolding. This place is never empty for a reason, however its often never packed, because the prices are fairly high. It is located within a nice, but expensive hotel, right in the centre of Kolding. It is a nice place to have a coffee and a cake, there's a relaxed atmosphere. Its clean inside, with typical Danish designer furniture, and lit candles on every table, even in the day. The menu is very wide ranging. The salmon sandwiches are excellent. They also serve great Danish brunches, and my favourite, the English breakfast! So for British wanting a taste of home, its the only place you'll find an English breakfast being served, anywhere in South Jutland. I have never had an evening meal there, but I expect it also to be great, given my past experiences there. Stayed at the hotel for 3 days for business. Food is better than average and it has a good vibe. BUT man is the service terrible and prices are very high. Go somewhere else. There is much better in town. read more
