Came in because I had shoulder pains for the past month. It wasn't too painful but definitely annoying, especially when sleeping. I was recommended to this place by my uncle and I thought it was all hype but this place is the real deal. Doc took a look at my shoulder, had me do some movements to help pin point the pain, and was able to create a treatment plan for my needs. Turned out I had some agitated scar tissue, so he used some ultrasonic waves to heat up the area from the inside out, then did some massaging with this amazing massage gun (he said it vibrates parallel to the surface so it doesn't cause too much damage, as compared to the regular massage gun that beats your muscles), finished up with shock therapy and with each treatment I could feel less and less pain. Doc is really knowledgeable and can explain the issue and treatment plan in a way for me to understand. To top it off, the people up front were also nice and helped make the visit seemless. Came here for treatment for my mom's vertigo. Dr. Hung was very aware of her situation. He was very informative and understanding. He knew all her symptoms and what was causing them. He placed electric pads to smooth the muscles and then proceeded with the adjustments. He explained into details of what she can do to prevent it from coming back. From scheduling the appointment to the moment I left, everything was a great experience. Honestly, I hate going to any kind of doctor and would rather do my own research on WebMD and misdiagnose myself LOL or bear the pain until it goes away.. but I had so much back pain I couldn't even stand or sit without feeling extreme discomfort. I'm really happy I gave this place a chance. Office is nice and clean; my first impression was not something I would expect from a doctor office in Bolsa at all. Dr. Doan is a genuine and friendly person and healthcare professional. He explained everything so thoroughly: the possible causes of my pain, what to expect from his treatment, and even demonstrated post-treatment care that I could do at home myself to alleviate any future discomfort. I've been to other chiropractors who seem to care more about how much they can charge their patient rather than their patient themselves, which was the complete opposite vibe I got from Dr. Doan. Not sure what the correct terminology for what he did for me was but I had a sesh of electrical something massage which I immediately felt a great sense of relief. Better than any $25 massage you'd get in Bolsa. After about 20 mins of that, Dr. Doan massaged my back with this hot relieving gel (which btw after the appointment he gave me a jar no charge!) as well as an adjustment. Not even a day after and I already feel 100% better. I highly recommend him to anyone reading this review and have already told many family members and friends to go see him. I was referred to this place from a good friend of mine. I just want to say that Huy is genuinely a really nice guy and he know what he is doing. I went to see Huy because I injured my back by doing deadlift at the gym and I could not get in and out of the my vehicle without sharp main in my lower back. I went to Huy for one treatment and I was amazed by how freely I was able to move after that. One other thing I would like to mention is that I also signed up for 3 session with him and I paid him for one session and I asked if I would need to pay for my 2 other session because it was in our verbal agreement and he told me that "as long as you are healthy then do not worry about it. We schedule for the 3 session because I assume that you would need it." Like WOW!! Great customer service indeed. I had a wonderful experience with Dr. Doan and his office. The front desk staff was really friendly and easygoing. Paid by card, no insurance, no issues. Dr. Doan was thorough in asking questions about my issues with migraines and an old martial arts injury. He proceeded to warm the muscles and did his chiropractic magic. We had a good talk and he explained every step of the process. After the session, he said if I needed to come back in a few days then I could give a call. Otherwise, no need. I really felt the effects later that day. It was amazing. My neck and shoulders felt released from the tension. No headaches! There was a definite improvement on my posture. I highly recommend this chiropractic clinic! Doctor Doan and staff are super nice and professional. I twisted my ankle on Friday morning. It hurts so bad that I could not walk without help. I went to se Dr Doan when I could no longer stand the neck pain that I had for 5 months. Within 2 sessions, I was noticing an improvement, and every session kept getting more range of motion. I haven't had a ton of money lately, but now that I have some cashflow, I'm going back to Dr. Doan to finish out my treatments. I have to say that Mr Huy did an excellent job of comforting my pains and that I found both his attitude and the electrical therapy to be quite therapeutic. This gets the place an additional star based on that but the bait and switch is a horrible thing to do; especially when you are taking the last dollar from a student. I will mention this. If you have unlimited funds or are covered by insurance this guy is great but do not show up and let them treat you without asking questions. I neglected to ask about the cost because my Vietnamese friend who recommended the place only pays $30 per visit. I've been to many chiropractors before but I have never heard of a $65 adjustment. Absurd...and I had no option but to pay because I had already received the services. Looking back in hindsight I realized why the lady did not give back my ID. She took a copy of it like normal procedure. I literally walked over and extended my hand to get the ID back and noticed her ignore me. I thought it was odd but didn't look into it too much. Once I returned back to Newport to pay for my groceries I noticed my lack of ID when my credit card use was refused due to a lack of ID. How embarrassing. Now I get it. Hold on to the ID. Charge an exorbitant price. Then refuse to give back the ID if they don't pay. Keep in mind that the Vietnamese community pays around 50% for the same services. So.. I feel great, but I was overcharged.. and also wasted $15 of gas and 1.5 hours of my time due to their negligence. They also don't take credit cards so they took my last $65 in cash. I'd suggest giving customers the credit card option as well as using consistent prices from person to person. read more

I like Dr. Huy Doan, i just recently got into an accident and not knowing what to do the first thing was to go to a Chiropractor. Dr. Doan walked me through the process of how they will be billing the insurance company and not the individual so that was a relief. I have been going 3x a week and everytime i went back they gave me the best experience ever. The receptionists were are nice and welcoming. ALthough i was late most of the time they were very accomodating,,i didnt have to wait. Dr Doan worked on my injured area and was always very attentive to my pains and my well being.
