The owner is a charming and eccentric soul... The Willy Wonka of Heidelberg, and the candy he has selected for his customers is out of this world - from the standard German Gummi bears, to extremely amazingly fine chocolate, and everything in-between. Its location is also delightfully charming- situated in a nice cozy little part of town. A MUST when you visit Heidelberg... for the chocolate, and everything else that comes along with it. We ordered the hot chocolate and chose to leave it au natural, versus add one of the many aromas and flavors they offer. The drink was rich, thick, and velvety. It's what hot chocolate is supposed to taste like. We savored every drop. Run, don't walk to this chocolate confection heaven. It's now a staple for every visit to Heidelberg.
