This place sells the most delicious gummy bears I have ever tasted. They contain things like real berry infused-chunks- in the gummy bear. At. 4 euros a pack this is a steal. If I were to compare this to the next best gummy bear I tasted - which is Williams and Sonoma gummy bears at 20 dollars for a small bag, barenland blows them all away. Barenland is worth a visit especially to sample the treats and also to view the creative gummy offerings - like sushi gummies.

They serve some drinks, a sandwich or two and waffles and a cake of the day. So not much on offer, but the service is so sweet and it's just off the touristy main paths, so it's a wonderful place to sit down in the sun and catch a breath watching the world go by. I had an almond cake flavoured with a bit of orange that was out of this world. Never had a moist almond cake before and with little chunks of almonds in it, not just a fine powder. Also fortunately, I translated the Yelp reviews from German to English as I was sitting there sipping on my coffee and learned that their almonds were famous. I picked up a packet each of lemon, chilli, vanilla & original almonds (they are all caramelised and flavoured and the chilli is really hot but outstanding) And a lovely coffee too. This is a great shop/small museum located in the middle of the historical city center and also offers a glimpse into the history of senf (mustard) making. They have a wide selection of mustards and offer complementary samples. The inside has a small tasting in the back where you can try all their flavours. There's even an option to bring your own jar and they will fill it for €0,70/100g. Most of their mustard jars ranged in the €1,70 to €1,95 price range. A lot of interesting flavours to choose from. There was also a few bottled sauce options (BBQ, cold brew coffee BBQ, hot chili sriracha, honey and sour cream) for €2,49. - Radschläger senf (€1,70) - this was my favourite. Apparently, it's one of two traditional Düsseldorf mustard brands (the other brand which they also have is ABB). - Löwensenf knoblauch (€1,95) - garlic flavoured mustard. This was our favourite from the Löwensenf lineup. If you like mustard, definitely worth a visit. Reasonably priced too.
