The whole unit is dedicated to pediatrics, with different pediatric specialties under one roof, which makes it even more convenient for families. The hospital is spotless, easy to access, and has convenient parking. It's very kid-friendly, with cheerful children's pictures, and a TV playing favorite kids' shows that kept our little one happily occupied while we waited. The staff were warm and welcoming, which immediately put both us and our child at ease. Dr. Rajesh was friendly and great with kids. He took the time to answer all of our questions and made the consultation both reassuring and informative. Our visit lasted about an hour, including the initial check-up, dilation, and consultation. We appreciated that they told us upfront to plan for up to two hours. Even with the waiting time in between, the environment was pleasant and well organized. Overall, an excellent experience for families seeking specialized pediatric eye care.

The first thing that impressed me was the separate waiting rooms - one for sick kids and one for well kids - genius! The front line staff has always been welcoming, courteous and helpful. The nurses are very kid-friendly and incredibly knowledgeable! I have called the nurse line so many times over the years and feel like I have always received professional and reliable counsel, wether it is to bring my kids in to be seen (we are almost always able to get in same day which is a HUGE plus!) or a recommendation to try an OTC medicine first (appreciate not dragging my kid in if it's not necessary!!), or even an assurance that I was managing a sickness appropriately. I even appreciate the billing staff who, because of inadequate insurance for a time and a very sick child, I got to know early on, always handled our situation with kindness and compassion! All of this is, IMHO, exceptional compared to our previous experiences with two other practices, but, of course, wouldn't even matter if the doctors weren't absolutely top-notch medical professionals! Their expertise and dedication, apparent to me in every interaction, is what continues to make me confident in recommending Northeast Pediatric, and also why they are getting all five stars! (Shout out to Dr. Earles and Dr. Antone, who are the doctors we usually see). No practice is perfect, so as for negatives, sometimes the wait time to see the doctor can be a little long, especially if you've called for a same day appointment and they are fitting you in, but in talking to other moms and my own experiences, this is a universal issue with every medical practice wether it's pediatric, adult or specialty. However, I recently had a negative experience with the front desk staff, and this review is focused on that aspect of my visit. The woman I spoke with was rude and not customer-service oriented. I had questions about my insurance since I recently changed plans, and she did not explain the information clearly. She spoke to me in a way that made me feel as though she were doing me a favor, and my questions were not answered properly. I arrived 15 minutes late for my appointment and informed the office in advance. I was told that I would still be seen. However, during my visit, she stated that there were issues with my insurance and that too much time had passed, so my appointment had to be canceled. This was frustrating, especially since on several occasions in the past, I have waited up to 30 - 40 minutes to be seen. Later, I attempted to make another appointment and called at 4:50 PM, but I was told the office was already closed, even though the website states that the office closes at 5:00 PM. I wanted to share this experience because I have always valued the care provided by the doctors, and I hope this feedback can help improve the overall patient experience.

They have been very accommodating, able to talk to us on the phone to answer questions, and get her in the office multiple times in a week to check for secondary infections. My mom has been helping care for my daughter, and they needed to send her to Beaumont for chest X-rays. They provided my mom with a copy of her insurance card (which I had forgotten to leave) -- such a lifesaver!

I called in April for an appointment and this person insisted that since I was due for an annual physical, that is what she would make the appointment for. I paid it upon receiving the collection letter immeadiately, but now their "policy" is to REFUSE to see me because I did go into collections. So new mommies, SAVE YOURSELF THE ISSUES AND GO ELSEWHERE. I got the run around with my appointments when I was pregnant and I tried to look past that because I liked the doctors so much. Obviously, this practice isn't about helping women, it's purely about money. I hope that they realize they are part of a growing trend of not giving women a helping hand but instead putting them down.
