From a very loyal customer. Great supermarket, beautiful fresh food. Very disappointed tonight though!.. I understand that the shop closes at 10pm and i arrived to the store at 10.10pm but alot of staff were just inside the door and would not open the door to speak to me. I was needing an urgent product for my baby. I am so disappointed that the man at the door would not even have the decency to open the door slightly to talk to me and see what i needed. A real gem of a supermarket. The fresh produce is of the highest quality, really good meat, fish and dairy products. The store is very well stocked where you'll find what might be considered hard to find ingredients. This is a 'tester' store for the Supervalu group so you'll find new products piloted here on a regular basis. The shop is spotlessly clean and you'd need a coat venturing down the frozen food aisles! The staff are alway friendly and eager to please. They also operate a home delivery service. read more

Shopping in Hurley's is like going to a supermarket but still being in an old-fashioned grocery store where the customer comes first.We wanted a particulat brand of flour for bread-making but could not find it on the shelf. we asked a man who was stocking shelves nearby and 2 minutes later he returned with exactly what we wanted. Apparently it was on a delivery that had only just arrived into the warehouse.The checkout staff are always relaxed and cheerful, and again, they are ready and willing to "go the extra mile" to please the customer.Now for the downside....
