This proved to not be the case, but I'm glad to have come here anyway. They take American swipe CCs like Visa and MC. They also take Amex. Employees are super nice. I dropped a container of eggs, and they said don't worry about it. I was prepared to pay, but no biggee. Also, they have liquor here. It's expensive, but so was hard liquor everywhere in Ireland. Managed to find decently priced cognac, though.
