Ordered a bouquet for a lady friend with whom I'm about to become more serious. Called Hunt's to see if it would be possible to swap out half of the pink roses in the bouquet for red. Was told that if I ordered the "deluxe" (and not "regular") version, they would do so for no charge. Placed the order, cited the associate's name and what we agreed to with pink-red rose swap in the instructions. Called them again on Tuesday to confirm that they would do the swap and we were on track. Was assured that was the case. Flowers arrived. Lady friend was pleased. But she told me that the roses were all pink, not a single red in there. Look, I would've been fine with paying a bit more to do the pink-red rose swap. But if I had been assured through two separate phone calls that: 1) this swap would be done; 2) it would not cost me extra on top of the "deluxe" version charge, then I expect it to be done. Very disappointing from Hunt's. Will not be using them in the future. **Update** Spoke with Hunt's Flowers after they responded to my review and we were able to work out a solution. Called to confirm they could provide the dozen red roses I needed and although they were unable to deliver them in time, they did provide several options for me to pick from and the arrangement was perfect! i called hunt flowers for a stand of flowers with a very special request for a very special service for a 16 month old child. what i wanted was not a stock item but ms JoLynne accepted to challenge and looked for the needed items but found that they are no longer available so she took complete control and made a painting that was even better than the idea i had. we recieved several comments about the beautiful flowers around a note board with the words JESUS CALLED with a phone that was off the hook. i wish i could give her a 10 or more but 5 is the max keep on keeping on gary read more

I have ordered flowers from here before and my fiancé has always loved them. I understand that the picture on the website might not reflect the final product but the anniversary flowers I ordered had me a little disappointed. I was hoping for more purple flowers in the mix but it looks more pink than anything. My fiancé loves the color purple so I thought the lavender bouquet would be perfect but I am sorry it completely missed the mark for me. The first two pictures are the flowers she received and the last is the picture from the website. If the purple flowers weren't available I wish someone would have contacted me. *edit*. I live in Florida but my grandmother lives in Baton Rouge. I used to send her pro-flowers on special occasions because I always thought flower shops would be too expensive. Pro-flowers was no good because it was too much work for my grandma to pick up the big box and unload the flowers on her own and they only lasted a day or so. I decided to do some research online and came across Hunt's Flowers. The prices are great and I can do everything online. They have pictures and they deliver the flowers right to my grandma's door. She doesn't have to unload them or anything like that. Today I ordered her some get better soon flowers at 8:30am and by 11 she was already calling to say how beautiful the flowers were. Same day service and it didn't cost extra just the normal $10 delivery fee . Hunt's flowers has become the only place I use to send my grandma flowers and I would recommend them to everyone! read more

She was the only person who listened to everything that I wanted to do. My friend had recently gotten married and I wanted to use her same vases. She was the only person who included my specific ideas in her quote-it was also the most reasonably priced. She gave suggestions on types of flowers once I showed her some of my ideas (and budget). I am a contractor from out of town and used this florist to send a Christmas arrangement to my client in Baton Rouge. I ordered a beautiful premium red rose and white carnation Christmas bouquet off of Hunt's Flower's website. NOTE: I did not go through a third party to order. I just so happened to be in town meeting with my client when she received the bouquet. Imagine the disappointment and embarrassment when the bouquet that was delivered was at best substandard to what I ordered. There were NO roses in the bouquet at all, only white carnations. I checked my credit card, and yes Hunt's had charged me the premium amount. I called Hunt's as soon as I left my meeting and released alot of pent up frustration. Their solution was to send a Hunt's employee to my client's address and add roses to the arrangement while the arrangement was still in my client's office! As the previous poster stated MAJOR DISAPPOINTMENT. I will never use this business again. There is no way Hunts Flowers can remedy a situation where a vendor is caused such embarrassment. C. On a Wednesday I brought a vase in to Hunt's Florist for a cemetery arrangement for my dad. I was very specific about fullness of arrangement and had to have a bow in front. I offered to pay between $50 and $60 for this arrangement. When I went back on Friday the arrangement did not have a bow (like I specifical asked for), very minimumal flowers and poorly arranged. I refused to take it. I returned Monday to find the flowers were not securely insite the vase and the first wind will take them away. After three trips and out of $40.00 I am very displeased with Hunts and I WILL tell everybody I meet do not use this firm. read more
