He stated my insurance wouldn't pay and they are only concentrating on precancerous spots. On my Back mm I have probably 100 moles flat crusty the itch all the time gave me lotion but d I don't help been going on a.long time didn't offer an alternative like freezing and killing the moles. I lived in Metro Atlanta and while I went to the same practice, over the years I saw five different providers - two MDs and three PAs. All were excellent. They always used a magnified light for exams and spent a good ten minutes going over every square inch, including my scalp. This is what I was accustomed to. After moving to Warner Robins, I chose Georgia Dermatology as my new practice but the exam experience I had was an absolute joke. The PA (whose name I'll refrain from using, but SHOULD) came in with an intern who was shadowing. The PA talked with the intern more than she did with me. My exam? She took a whopping 30 seconds or so to look at me from about 18 inches away. I had to ASK her to check the back of my legs. Unbelievable. I hope this was an exception, but I'm obviously not going back.

Upon entering the doctor's office, I observed the seating area and the check-in desk, along with a television to watch while waiting to see the physician assistant or doctor, or another medical professional. When my turn arrived, I was escorted to the back where I was taken to the patient room to discuss my concerns or questions with the physician assistant or doctor. The patient rooms are well-maintained and clean, which I appreciate; who wouldn't prefer a tidy room? Personally, I would certainly favor a clean patient room. Trust me, I have encountered my share of unclean and non-sterile patient rooms in the past, and it was far from a pleasant experience as a patient. John, the physician assistant, along with his medical assistant, was very courteous upon entering and inquired about my concerns. John promptly reviewed my issues and addressed them appropriately. Am I satisfied as a patient at Skin Care Physicians of Georgia? Indeed, I am.
