My son was able to raise his placement score by 21 points (on a 100-point scale) and qualify to take the higher math class upon entering his freshman year at university. I like the structure of the instruction and how they can tailor it to fit the student. It isn't a one-size fits all approach that I see in other centers.

We sought out Mrs. Renzi as a recommendation from our schools Dyslexia rep. We cannot thank Mrs. Renzi enough for her patience and kindness when teaching organization of thought along with grammar rules. Mrs. Renzi wants her students to not only learn, but enjoy what they are writing about. Her professionalism in communicating with my children's teachers has been so appreciated. She takes the time to understand what is being taught in class, and reflects areas of concern in her lesson plans. Her flexibility to address tough areas with homework was a lifesaver to my children's self esteem. We went from F's to A's - I cannot say enough awesome things expressing how thankful we were to have a resource so good and right at our fingertips. I have cherished all the fun stories my children have written (over 2 years). Even though she has moved we still keep in touch since she has not only been a great tutor, but also a great friend!!! We really miss having her in Houston. Mrs. Renzi is TRULY a gifted teacher. I have recommended her over and over to other parents. You will not be disappointed.

Mike's also very careful about matching his tutors with students as these tutors come into the student's home each week -- which makes the experience much more custom and personalized for the child. He's always on time, really knows his stuff (all adult tutors with degrees), helps my daughter tremendously (she finally started passing STAAR tests!), is easy to talk to, and the billing is a cinch! We also needed a chemistry tutor this year and Cheryl was equally wonderful! The best thing is that they come to my house...so no extra after school driving & I can keep working on my stuff without having to pack everything up and sit in my car waiting. I would definitely give them 10 stars if I could. We're planning on staying with this company for the duration of my daughter's high school career.

We found Joe's name the weekend before the last test so time was short but Joe went out of his way to rearrange his schedule to work with us. After his first session with Joe, my son told me that he learned more in that hour than in 12 weeks with his classroom teacher and that many of the pieces were falling into place. He made a big improvement on the test and did not have to retake it as he had on several previous ones. He continued with the sessions and made an 82 on the semester midterm. I only wish we had found Joe sooner and the semester would have been a lot less stressful.

I can't speak for their regular classes that they hold for grade school kids, I can only speak for myself and the private tutoring I received for my college mathematics class. I'll start off with the owner (who's name I do not remember) who was extremely nice and worked with me both time-wise and financially to get these tutoring sessions done. I had the chance of working with two different tutors (Heather & Reddy) - both of whom were excellent and did a really substantial job at helping me to UNDERSTAND the assignments that I brought in with me, rather than just doing the problems and hoping for the best later on. So if you're in college and need a private tutor, don't feel silly about calling this place up (although you may have a 5-year-old sitting behind you getting tutored as well occasionally ;). They will really help you to learn what I like to call Satan's Language - and that is Math.

I reached out, and Andre got back to me the very next day with a professional and detailed email explaining his process and how he works with students. What really stood out to me was that he doesn't just jump into tutoring--he starts with an initial assessment to understand where the student is, then builds a plan from there. I'll be honest--at first we were a little unsure because we hadn't realized he had moved during the pandemic and now does sessions online. But I'm so glad I went with my gut. From the very first session, it was clear that Andre truly cares about his students. He was patient, encouraging, and explained things in a way that made sense to Kloee. She even told me she liked how he used real-life examples to help her connect the dots. After just about two months of working with him, Kloee's score went up by 220 points -- especially in math, where she saw the biggest improvement. We were beyond proud of her, and I know Andre played a huge role in that. We're planning to continue with him this summer to focus more on reading and writing so she can boost her score even more for the August SAT. If you're looking for a tutor who is responsive, thoughtful, and really knows how to connect with students, I can't recommend Andre enough. He was the perfect fit for us!
