Wanting to make things right, we looked for a pressure washing service and got a glowing referral from another neighbor for Ret-A-Vet. The owner, Phillip, came out and provided a very fair and reasonable estimate to wash the neighbor's driveway, our own driveway, and the north side of our house which had developed some mildew. As the storm was approaching, I specifically asked him BEFORE he started pressure washing my driveway whether he should wait because of the rain. He assured me that the results would actually be better because of the rain. I trusted his word, only to be left with a poorly done job and an even worse customer service experience. My driveway was left with entire rows of dark dirt and obvious areas that had been completely missed. The work was visibly incomplete and nowhere near the quality I expected or was promised. To make matters worse, he sprayed mud onto my porch that was not there before. So, instead of leaving my property looking better, the service created another mess. BUT THE WORST PART WAS HOW THIS COMPANY HANDLED THE SITUATION AFTERWARD. He had absolutely no problem accepting my payment, but when it came time to take responsibility for the unsatisfactory work and correct the problems, the communication stopped. My concerns were not properly addressed, and the company failed to resolve the situation. In my opinion, this is an unacceptable way to conduct business. Professionalism and integrity are demonstrated by how a business treats its customers, especially when something goes wrong. Taking someone's money and then failing to address legitimate complaints about incomplete work shows a troubling lack of accountability and customer care. Collecting payment should never be the end of a company's responsibility. The job should be done correctly, and when it is not, the customer deserves a response and a reasonable effort to make things right. I find this entire experience deeply disappointing and unprofessional. The service did not meet my expectations, the condition of my property was made worse in one area, and the company's response afterward only added to my frustration. Do not be fooled by a five star rating alone. My personal experience did not reflect the level of quality, professionalism, or customer care that I expected when I hired this company.
