On the recommendation of my financial advisor, I chose Hunsberger Dunn to help me go through the probate process for my late brother's estate. I mostly dealt with Kellsie and occasionally Bryan and Genene, and they kept me informed throughout the long California Probate process. They did a wonderful job and have my highest recommendation for handling the probate process and estate planning. read more

When my Mother passed away, needed help getting her estate through Probate. Fortunately, I chose Genene Dunn to handle the probate. With her guidance, it became an easy process for me. Genene and staff were very professional and handled all aspects of the probate. Being in a different county, they handled all court appearances and correspondence was via email and phone. During a very difficult time for our family, Genene and staff were instrumental in initiating the probate quickly and moving it through as quickly as the courts would allow. Thank you Genene and Kellsie. read more

My husband and I have been talking for many years about getting our wills and estates taken care of but never got around to it. One of our friends recommended Herb Chavers when I bemoaned my habit of procrastination. We met with Herb for our initial consultation and he was very personable and outgoing. He didn't hesitate to answer our questions and make suggestions pertaining to our situation. As an attorney myself, I know that discussing wills and estates can be a very draining topic. No one likes to admit their mortality. Herb's outgoing personality and storytelling help to relieve the heaviness of the topic. We met with Herb twice and now our minds are at ease with the knowledge that our family will be taken care of when we pass on. Herb Chavers is the attorney to guide you through the steps necessary to take care of your family's future. read more

We used Herb Chambers' services to update the trust for my elderly mother. His office did an excellent job, not only administratively, but also compassionately. From start to finish, they were attentive, considerate and accurate. We plan to use Herb again in the near future to update our own trust. His office staff also bent over backwards to make us feel welcomed and valued. We highly recommend Herb and his services. read more

We were recommended Hunsberger/Dunn by a member of our late mother's church. As Genene and her team guided us through seeing that the terms of our mother's will and trust were completed exactly per her wishes, our family could feel mom smiling in agreement. These are wonderful and kind people, who are there for you as you are dealing with some of life's most challenging moments. I strongly recommend them! read more

BEWARE OF THE SCAM EVERYONE! If I could give this place NEGATIVE reviews, I would! I was referred to this law firm to take on my trust case. I told the attorney that I had very poor communication with my then current attorney and that I wanted to make sure that the attorney I hire will definitely be able to efficiently help me. Attorney BRYAN BEARD assured me that it will never take him longer than 24 hours to answer my emails and that he will definitely be able to help me in my case and protect my interest. After I made my payment to this "FIRM" and right after my probate hearing I was trying to understand what approach we can take to obtain a solution to my case, and I asked to schedule a phone call with the attorney. On the day of our scheduled meeting I called, emailed and left voicemails at scheduled time with no response. The attorney finally called me the next day and emailed saying how he FORGOT about our meeting. After finally having that phone call with me he stated his plan of action that in the end I had to coordinate myself. After all this ATTORNEY BRYAN BEARD told me how there was "NEW INFORMATION ABOUT THE CASE THAT I NEVER TOLD HIM ABOUT." As a response to that I tried contacting him many times asking what information was he referring to with NO RESPONSE for weeks. I finally got him on the phone weeks after and he was SCREAMING AT ME WITH A COMPLETE DISRESPECT AND DISREGARD ACCUSING ME THAT I NEVER SENT HIM DOCUMENTS HE GOT FROM TRUST, WHICH I LATER FOUND IN MY EMAIL AND SENT HIM A PROOF OF. ATTORNEY BRYAN BEARD WAS SO CONDESCENDING THAT I HAD TO HUNG UP AND EXIT THE CONVERSATION as I was in the middle of my work environment. AFTER HAVING DONE NOTHING FOR MY CASE AND AFTER HAVING WASTED ADDITIONAL TIME AND MONEY WHILE ALSO MISTREATING ME IN THIS PROCESS THEY SENT ME A PARTIAL REFUND. This place is a COMPLETE SCAM!!! DO NOT SIGN WITH THESE PEOPLE!!! read more

Last may I suffered a heart attack and needed open heart surgery. I realized I needed to make an estate plan to protect my kids. I chose Herb Chavers because of positive reviews on Yelp. I have no experience at estate planning or wills, so I didn't know what I needed. I had two appointments with Mr. Chavers. During the first appointment, he listened to my situation and then carefully explained my options. He took his time and asked follow-up questions and explained the whole process. The second appointment, Mr. Chavers reviewed the final plan and explained every section. Again, he took his time, and the appointment lasted about 90 minutes. I have no reservations about recommending Herb Chavers for any estate planning or elder law. I feel confident that he created a plan that follows my wishes. read more

I've never had an estate plan done before, so I didn't know what to expect. In searching online I stumbled upon Herb Chavers website. It was there that I realized he was the person I had to go to. His website had videos where he explained the process from beginning to end so when I walked into my first appointment I knew exactly what to expect. There were no surprises and it was a comfortable meeting. Herb's office staff were friendly and helpful, and Herb was kind, humorous, as well as extremely knowledgeable in all things "estate planning". Herb was honest. He explained the process and asked questions that I never would've considered. The whole process was done swiftly, accurately and easily. I am the proud owner of a well thought out trust now. I was pleased with the cost too. Because of Herb I am confident that my estate will be dealt in the way I want it to be in the future. I would highly recommend Herb Chavers for estate planning. read more

Herb was recommended by a financial visor. In our meeting, Herb truly provided a lot of support and helped us understand the whole entire process of preparing and creating our estate settlement portfolio. We truly appreciated that he went step-by-step through the entire document to help us understand what we were creating, who will be the successor of our assets and how our children will be taken care of, and, overall, the entire family if an incident were to happen. This is an amazing life responsibility that everybody needs to truly take advantage, for the protection of children, assets, and family members. Complete our estate settlement portfolio gave us peace of mind, especially since the process was easy to understand and Herb took the time to teach us the importance. The meeting environment was very comfortable and the staff was really helpful. Our meeting was greeted with a welcome sign in mine and my husband's name. That small touch of customization really shows the caring and importance of our meeting. Overall, it was a quick and easy process, and anybody can get this done if they really put their time aside to complete it. My husband and I have been thinking of completing this for over 4 years and we have finally done it! Thank you, Herb and the staff for a great experience. read more

I know Don from Rotary and I can say from personal experience that he is a kind, caring and very professional man. I feel that he would be very compassionate with his clients and would do what is best for them. Even if that meant advising them to not sue or to settle a lawsuit with prolonging the process with a costly back and forth between attorneys. His commitment and giving is evident in his actions with Rotary International. read more
