In desperate need of my morning coffee, I decided to stop by a new coffee shop which caught my eye as I was driving by. Hunna Bunna Located on the corner of Pashen St & Riding road is super cute, & has a Hipster/vintage look to it. It was warm and welcoming as I walked in, as I was greeted by the friendly owners.
I ordered my long Macchiato Segafredo Coffee, with one of their Paleo Pumpkin, apple and currant cakes. My coffee was just perfect- Not bitter & hot and the cake was so delicious! I also got to try some of the Liquid Nitrogen cookies & cream Ice cream from Dippin dots, which can also be found at the eat street markets every week. One word YUM! They also currently offer little paleo treats such as banana breads and muffins.
The name Hunna Bunna came from Nick (one of the owners) who would call his son 'hunna bunna' as a nick name! Only newly opened, they have some exciting plans to open a mini bar out the back on the grassed turfed seating area, opening till midnight serving food from Brisbane's local food trucks thursday- sunday with live music! Currently 'La french attitude' serves up their crepes on a Friday night. Come and support local business and look out for when they start serving great fresh local food. If you check into Facebook, you automatically get 0.50 off your coffee. Open 7 Days a week 5am-5pm. read more
