Stopped in here to check out the merch and maybe grab a souvineer or shirt. Figured while yes this is a tourist trap it may be reasonable since it a very small town and the essence of Mayberry should be adorable and community driven. But no they was as crazy expensive as any other tourist trap store you would find in big cities. Overall they had some cool and fun t shirts and merch but nothing worth $25 for any shirt you can probably find online cheaper.

So it became just another fun photo op Much like the jail house, the cannon, and darlin farm all in the same area and paying homage to the same show. I was downtown today checking out a few new places and decided to stop in this home decor store…read more Wow. I'm SO glad I did. It reminded me of a great shop I used to visit frequently in Greensboro which is no longer in business. What a thrill to find a local shop run by ladies with a great eye for design and quality. I purchased several items which they carefully packaged for me and held them while I continued to shop other businesses in the area. I ended up with 2 large bags that would have been awkward to carry. When I was ready to leave town I stopped by and picked up my purchases. They also have a few additional items on the second floor that have significant mark downs. I'm excited to have found this great shop and plan to be a regular customer as they carry several designer lines I have not seen in this market. Definitely worth a visit.
