For discerning dog and cat owners this is a shop you have to check out. It's been open for about 8…read moremonths and is a medium size shop. Unlike chain pet stores this shop does not have a lot of stuff but what they have is of high quality and in some cases premium products for a premium price. If you think your pet deserves the best then you will not be disappointed. They have a range of beds, seats, harnesses and accessories for dogs and cats. They also have bath products from Miau & Woof a top end pet products company from Düsseldorf. They have a range of food products which are additive free and sourced from within Germany. Prices are not cheap here so be well prepared to pay a premium price for the products they have. In typical German style most of their food products are from Doctors ;-)) supposedly experts in pet nutrition and so on. I did end up buying some food items here and the shop owner was nice enough to give me some stuff to try as well. The dog groomer we used before has moved into this shop and hence, the reason for my visit. I will be back here again. It's a nice shop with some superior pet products.

It was my first visit to an animal shelter in Munich and I must say, they have an impressive setup…read moreand lots of space for the animals to live in and also very caring staff that were friendly and helpful. If you don't speak German this can be a bit difficult however they were kind enough to speak slowly and explain things to us in terms of taking one of the animals from them and what we needed to do. I could have come home with quite a few of the dogs here :-) it is sad to see these wonderful animals in a shelter like this and hard to imagine that people would abandon them. If you are looking for a dog, cat or other pets they have a lot here and it's well worth a visit. It's quite a big space and it was quite busy. They also have a website with all the available pets listed with photos and descriptions. They are quite open with the details and ensue that you are fully aware of the choices available and the decisions you have to make.

In unserem Tierheim werden auf unserem 5,8 Hektar großen Anwesen jährlich rund 8.500 Haus-, Wild- und Nutztiere in Not aufgenommen, pflegerisch und tierärztlich versorgt und an neue Plätze vermittelt. Etwa 70% der Haustieren werden bei uns im Jahr vermittelt, 30% warten etwas länger auf ein neues Zuhause. Außer für kommunale Tierschutzaufgaben setzt sich der Tierschutzverein München e.V. - mit einem Stamm von rund 12.000 Mitgliedern, zahlreichen Förderern und ehrenamtlichen Helfern in etlichen Tierschutzprojekten - auch in Kooperation mit anderen Tierschutzorganisationen, nachhaltig für das Wohl der Tiere ein.
