    Small river.
    Dominic M.

Although it's a tiny park, everything is jam packed into it. A playground, bathroom, covered eating area, off leash dog play area, a small river and baseball field. It's fine in the mornings and afternoons, but would not suggest visiting at night, as the crowd gets a bit sketchy in the evenings. I mainly go for the off leash dog park. It's a fairly narrow fenced in area, surrounding the baseball field. Usually there are a few dogs that come to great us at the gates. On rainy days, it gets quite muddy, so if you plan to go, bring some wet-wipes or towel for the care ride home. Only downside is, the usual dog owners there, aren't very welcoming. However, my dog enjoys her time there, which is the only thing that matters. Parking area looks small, but if you drive in further, there is another place to park near the dining area.

    Playground.

The menu had a few vegetarian options and the Green Goddess Buddha Bowl was tasty! They had a nice little selection of beer on tap (I didn't look at the wine list). The washrooms were nice and clean. There appear to be lots of activities as demonstrated by posts on the bulletin boards. If I lived in the area I would inquire about joining!

THE WAIT: There was no wait on a Saturday at 12pm. They were somewhat busy. Note if you have kids/babies, you can only eat at the area further from the windows, and there is no table service (except when they bring out your food). NOTE: For the nursing moms out there, this is a great Family Room on the lowest level! It has a view of the water and has a door that opens out onto their deck. There is a sink, fridge, water, restrooms, showers, a Pack n Play, toys, and a comfy sofa. THE FOOD: BENNIES * Eggs Diablo ($13.50) - 4.5 stars The potatoes were great, soft with a crisped edge. The sausage was spicy, just enough without being painful! Only complaints are this was pretty oily, which really drenched the spinach, and the yolks weren't runny (though soft). * Eggs Pacifica ($14.50) - 4 stars Tried a few bites, also great! Potatoes were much more crisp than in the Eggs Diablo.

Kingsway, the main drag leading into Vancouver proper, witnesses more than its share of traffic, as do the various side streets. So it's a testament to the vision of the founders of the town that this oasis exists. While one can occasionally hear the hum of the Metro or the nearby avenues, by and large it's a place to quickly and efficiently get away from it all. If walking and nature viewing don't fully complete your needs, there are plenty of more physical activities to partake in or watch others partake in - the stadium, the pool, the golf course, the picnic tables - you name it, Central Park has it.

The Central Park Perimeter Trail is one of the longest continuous rubberized tracks for walking and running at 3.5km. LOVE IT!! There is a 2.5-kilometer outdoor fitness circuit with 12 stations designed for cardio, strength, balance, and flexibility. Tennis courts can use some upgrading or expansion though. Lots of space for picnics and some are under covered spaces. Summer is usually occupied by church groups. There's an area where people have their RC boats in the pond. Not sure if the ducks are annoyed by them or not. This park has almost everything.

What a great facility and much needed upgrade in the City of Langley! If you visited the old…read morefacility then you'll know what I'm talking about. Firstly it is a beautiful, well laid out facility. The space is modern looking, open and inviting. There is a huge living wall, plenty of wood throughout and the water fountains have water bottle fills so they can gauge how many bottles have been reused rather than purchased and potentially thrown out. So smart! There is a nice games room out front and a well appointed workout room, a large gym that can be split into smaller courts to accommodate smaller game play. Above the gym is an indoor walking track. There are also a number of multipurpose rooms to rent. Timms offers a bunch of different classes throughout the year. I appreciate the building because it's a really meeting place, fairly central and easily accessible to anything in the city. Lots of parking below and across the street at the Langley Mall, I haven't ever had to walk far to get back tui my car. I'm addition to that the building also houses the Mayor and City Council Chambers. Go check it out! I like it!
