Never thought I would Yelp on a dentistry... But I have to…read more First off, this is not a fancy place... But I'd choose an honest experienced dentist over a fancy dentist chair any day. I was referred by my BF but was still skeptical at how the cost was so affordable... Now that I have completed all my dental work - it's safe to say that I am 100% satisfied. The staff was all very friendly and accommodating as well. I'll back up a little. I went to 3 other LA dental offices prior - all said I need 2 root canals + 6 fillings. Quotes were up to $5 Gs.... Felt most comfortable with Dr. Dong + the prices couldn't be beat... I ended up only needing 2 crowns, ZERO root canals, and 2 fillings. He doesn't charge an arm and a leg and is very caring too. I am so glad I found a solid dentist. We all need one as we get older. So relieved all my dental work is doneZO. :] Also, King Taco is right across the street. :D

I had to ask, "Yes, what?" She then said, "Yes to your question. That's why I'm calling to confirm your appointment for tomorrow." The way she responded made me feel uncomfortable and, honestly, like I was being made to feel stupid for simply asking a reasonable question. I wasn't being difficult--I just wanted to make sure everything was approved before coming in for my appointment. The receptionist is often the first point of contact and the first impression a patient has of an office. Unfortunately, this interaction left me with such a negative impression that I'm now questioning whether I want to continue going to this dental office. I hope management takes this feedback seriously. Patients should feel welcomed, respected, and comfortable asking questions about their appointments and insurance.

The dentist who attended me was probably the best dentist I've had. She was very calming, made sure to ask me if I was comfortable, and repeatedly let me know to let her know if I was in pain. She was thorough in her examination and cleaning. While she originally thought I didn't have any cavities she did find one after doing the cleaning. She offered to fill the cavity the same day. I was referred to this location by a friend and was not disappointed. They took my dental insurance which was great. I have a severe overbite and was told that surgery was my only option. After coming to Dr.Robles for my initial consultation, I was convinced this was the right place for me. He was very informative of an Herbst Device that would correct my overbite and also included braces in my treatment. He explained thoroughly how the device worked, how long the treatment would be, and assured me off all the problems and complications I would encounter would be temporary. I love the Dr. Robles always checks up on me when I come in every month. At other dentist offices you just deal with the dental assistant replacing your wires and your bands. Dr. Robles always makes his way into my room and talks to me about my progress and improvement. Here, everyone greets you when you walk in and knows you by name. Always asks how you're doing and if there have been any problems from the last time they saw you. The receptionist, Monica, is always so nice and everyone working there just really makes you feel like home. I live in Los Angeles and I drive past hundreds of dentists offices just to make it to Baldwin Park to see Dr. Robles because it's definitely worth the hour drive to get there in traffic. They have a huge parking lot that I have never seen filled which I LOVE. Because I hate looking for parking. I love the cute little molar chairs for children that I sit on for fun. I love the progress I have made and how Dr. Robles has reversed the damage that Western Dental has caused on my teeth. Family practices are the way to go and this place definitely proves that.

I walked in there and the dentist took a look at it. He removed the broken piece and prescribed medication and i am now getting a crown on that tooth all covered by my insurance I have felt so comfortable when i go there and that is how it should be.
