Sorry but if you're charging $250/hr and you're still expecting a tip, you're greedy and entitled. If you need tips to supplement your wage at that ridiculous rate - keep raising your rate- otherwise tips are entirely optional and I'm fed up with feeling cheap for not dishing out more money when I've commissioned an artist for an expensive piece. He is so well trained and is adamant about being on top of the latest in the industry, as well as making sure they are always extra hygenic in the shop. Unfortunately, he no longer pierces, but they have the best prices for tattoo removal that Ive seen (yes, its still an expensive procedure). During our consult, it was decided that Ryan would do my tattoo first as it would only take an hour or so, whereas my husband's could take at least 3. We showed up on the 19th and found out Ryan had switched our appointments. He decided to do my husbands first and then mine, which I was fine with, until.... Ryan made a comment about not seeing my tattoo appointment and not having the picture we provided him with, which was odd because everything was sent in one email. I sat in your shop for over an hour during which time I listened to a conversation between your artists who were discussing your 48 hr cancellation policy. Then a 1/4 of the way through my husband's tattoo I get told I may not even get my tattoo that day. He said we could reschedule and that he would even come in on his day off! We were supposed to be getting our tattoos together on our anniversary! I was pissed and left the shop! I sat in my car alone in your parking lot for another 3.5 hrs waiting for my husband (hoping I'd get my tattoo) on my ONLY day off in 6 days, on my wedding anniversary for an appointment we had booked 3 weeks prior! Then I find out Ryan cancelled my appointment but kept the appointment after me!! Who does that? That right there is a shitty business and shitty customer service!!! He literally cancelled my appointment the day of, on the spot (we drove in from Airdrie), and he had the nerve to take his next appointment!!! I am curious as to why his next appointment was more IMPORTANT then the one I had, had scheduled for 3 weeks? At no point did Ryan check to see if I was mad, nor did he attempt to reschedule my appointment. The response I received from the shop owner after I sent a message was just as bad!!! If I could give this shop a -10 I would!!!! They ruined what was supposed to be a happy and exciting day for my husband and I! We will NOT be back anytime in the future, nor will we be recommending your shop to anyone we know!

In that ten minutes instead of helping us, she took a walk-in. No big deal, I get it. My daughter and I picked out our jewelry, and waited. Ten minutes after our appointment time Tiff abruptly whisked us into a room. No pleasantries or nothing. She quickly told my daughter she does not have the right anatomy for the piercing she wanted. Okay, she decided to do something different. Tiff kicked us out of the room and told us to find jewelry for the different piercing. She found it quickly and we waited. Two more walk-in came and were helped. In this time we waited and ten minutes after our last appointment time Tiff came out and picked up her phone from the office and disappeared into the back. We decided to leave, I told the receptionist we didn't want to wait any longer and received no response. I will never go back, why book appointments if you have no intention on keeping them?

Not only was the service and jewelry overpriced, but the jewelry was also unnecessary, unwearable and caused ear problems. I was charged double the quoted price (with jewelry included), despite confirming in advance via phone that there would be no additional fees prior to booking the appointment and outlining the situation via notes and in person my original piercing experience with the "gun" 40 years ago. I was shocked when I was billed over $200 at the time of piercing and immediately contested the charge. The experience was time-consuming, as Keith frequently bounced between customers and those counter surfing. Even with my appointment, I was there for an hour after arriving ten minutes early. The final outcome was completely misaligned and lopsided piercings, resulting in extra, unnecessary holes in my ears that are permanent. I have photos to support this, and anyone who sees my ears, including George the piercer at Strange World (who I can't recommend enough), can attest the appalling result. I am beyond upset!

I went to Boss Tattoos Inglewood for a walk-in session and it was a very low mediocre experience…read more They were not at all flexible with the simple tattoo that I wanted as well were very rude (asking why I even wanted that, that it was barely a tattoo since it was small, if I was sure I wanted that, etc.) They were unable to do small tattoos and thin detailed lines! Like??? Are you trained or ??? A couple of the artists were very unprofessional and unaccommodating, only Chase and Sammy seemed to actually care about their clients, everybody else was simply trying to make a quick buck and hurry through to the next client. You could tell that it was a toxic work environment. They also charged about $165 + tip for half an hour's work which is ridiculously high for a 20-30 minute tattoo. Lastly, none of them had any consistency to their work method or the aftercare method, they were each recommending different things for different time lengths and it was quite unnerving. I would not recommend to do a walk-in unless with Chase or Sammy.

I can't say anything about the tattoos , but I got some dermal anchors done on my wrists here…read more(after they rejected from a different piercer) and they healed great, had them nearly two years now I think. I've had to go in twice as I was being silly and lost the tops, each time they were friendly and very helpful!
