I don't write many reviews, frankly I don't like the time it takes for a thorough detailed review. However, this interaction left such a sour taste in my mouth, that I feel like have to. Maybe it'll prevent further persons from using this compnay. I wouldn't even allow my insurance company to pay these people anything if they ever wanted to use their services. So here it goes.. This company towed my UTV on my personal trailer, from my personal property. It wasn't abandoned on the side of the road or anything like that, and even if it was, this is not how this should have be handled. They towed my UTV away ON a trailer as one! Then waited a day for the "guy in charge to be in" so they had time to remove it OFF the trailer, so they could charge both ME and the trailer owner the tow fee, all because the trailer had a different registered owner! Had that UTV been in an enclosed trailer, would that have been done? No wouldn't have been done, I dont understand why it was done in this instance. The tow fee should have just been for the trailer it was on, not what was on the trailer separately. I had to pay double tow fees for this service. I was charged for tow/hook fee that should have been paid by the police station to tow to their impound, because they towed it there first, then towed it to their impound yard months later from the police impound at the police request. I was charged for both and storage fees for two days even though they were contacted the first day but because the "guy in charge" wasn't in, I was forced to leave it another day and pay an additional storage day. The phone number that is on their truck and the website is not an on call number, it's to the office, which we called during their normal business hours. I feel like the compnay intentionally did this to collect double for this service. The first day I tried to get it, I was outside the tow yard, I could see it still on the trailer. If it was a matter of me just asking for the UTV and not the trailer, and thats why I had to pay separately, why was the UTV ALREADY off of the trailer when I spoke to him on the phone before I even got there, he told me "it's not on the trailer" He must have decided to check if it was the same owner on the first day and was waiting to hear back to see if he could get couple the pay on it. Because the funny thing is that I got a notice from ADOT that the UTV was towed to their yard (which it was not, I called the tow yard to verify, they said it wasnt) but they registered owner of the trailer never received a notice from them. Sounds to me like they were going to try to keep it. I dont even mind paying the fee once! But twice? For one damn service!? Come on now! How is that okay!? The pricing on there office also does not say anything about being charged separately like this for situations like this. I took pictures, just in case they try to add it and say it was there the whole time. Greed is a bad thing..it ends up making you loose more than it was worth. read more

Jeff, Was only company out of 27 AAA companies that responded over a period 5 hours . He noticed that the other companies had not even bothered to contact us . He arrived to our remote site and changed our shredded 5 th wheel tire with great attention to detail. He took the time to check our tire pressures , mounted and torqued our tire to correct specification and even repaired a now damaged wheel well skirt that had torn loose from blown tire. Came out to my car to just realize that the battery was toast, I could not unlock the car. I just witnessed this tow truck driving erratically while towing someone's vehicle. The driver was speeding and driving recklessly through a construction zone on northbound on Higley near Elliot and Guadalupe. The lane changed, moving us into the south bound lane, and he hit it so hard it looked like the vehicle on his bed came up on 2 wheels. I most definitely would not use this service. read more

I have Geico insurance. On my way to work, my tire was flat. I called for roadside assistance who uses Hughes Towing who fucked my day up. He came to put on the spare tire while doing so he stripped the bolts on the tire and tried to blame it on the previous person who changed my tire. He then offered a free tow to discount tire, and by doing so said I must sign a waiver agreeing that he isn't responsible for the nuts being stripped. I get to discount tire who doesn't even repair the nuts while I'm speaking with discount tire he takes my car and drops it off at the closest place that fixes the bolts leaving me at discount tire to walk to the place that fixes bolts. Well now I'm here waiting over an hour for this to be done then to replace my tire and hundreds of dollars in damages. His name was Stan do not trust this thieving piece of shit company. I'll be filing a complaint with the bbb read more

Watch out for Hughes Towing tow trucks! One of their trucks tried to run me off of the road because he didn't like the fact that I merged in front of him. He even went so far as to go into the turn lane next to me and move over on me so that I had to partially drive on the shoulder to avoid him hitting me. As he did so, the female passenger in the truck flipped me off. I called the sheriff, but they couldn't do anything because they didn't see it happen. This driver behaved in a grossly irresponsible manner for someone operating a larger commercial vehicle such as that. read more
