Joel and his crew spent an additional four days removing the newly installed shakes and relaying them with the correct technique. We ordered plywood base they used OSB. They nailed shakes into membrane only. They did not allow enough space between shakes for run off and debris build up. They left rough edges on the gable ends, no I would not recommend this company! And they were paid very well!

We had Bohmer do our Master Ensuite in 2017 and can say nothing but exceptional work done in a…read moretimely fashion, while we moved upstairs during renovations. We chose the decor and Jake and Sherri managed the deconstruction, supply and install. This included painting of both the master ensuite and our bedroom + installation of new fans, walk-in shower, walk-in closet, heated tile floors, vanity and barn doors. Jake came up with an innovative idea to resolve a complex fan installation in a peaked vaulted ceiling. The barn doors took a bit of infill construction to replace the old French doors and upper window separating the master onsite. We were also very satisfied with the expertise of their electrical, plumbing, dry-walling and painting subcontractors. After 2.5 years we are more than happy with the results and budget was kept in check on an on-going basis. We purchased a commercial space in a new building in 2018 which required considerable work to finish. Bohmer was our first choice to complete this task which included the addition of 3 separate rooms, painting and the hanging of barn doors. Time was of the essence as our tenants were preparing to move in ASAP. An estimate was completed and adjustments were several as per changing tenant requirements. We made a mistake of hiring these contractors to do our renovation...the quality of finishes is…read moreatrocious, tiling was done very poorly... really a waste of good tiles. The flooring was done poorly as well, no sub-floor was placed and no leveling of the existing floor was done. The new flooring was cut so unevenly that the crooked edges could not be hidden by the baseboards. Oh,and the job was not finished after all, since accepting the fact that their work was shoddy was apparently below them. We had to hire a new contractor to redo much of their work (i.e. installing an entrance door properly instead of hanging it on the siding, and cutting the closet doors since the closet they made was not square or standard size), and to complete our renovation. No skill, no pride. Do not make the same mistake...just don't.

Matt was fast in getting back to us, reasonably priced and able to start in pretty good time. He was busy and juggling crew between jobs, so our installation took a couple of weeks, but it went fine. The crew was experienced and professional. They arrived on time every day and kept at the job until it was done. They took very good care not to damage our landscape plantings and they cleaned up really well every day - we'd been through such a different experience at another house that this matters to us.
