The answer to your questions about hiring Stacy Able Photography is YESSSSSSS. When our destination…read morewedding was impacted by coronavirus we made the decision to get married in Indianapolis, alone, with our families watching over zoom and postpone our big wedding celebration for a year to April of 2021. One of the best decisions we made was finding Stacy and hiring her. We are SO grateful for her work, it made our makeshift elopement real and you will not believe how great the pics turned out. Stacy was recommended to us by a neighbor who knew she did wedding photography and I had not seen her work before but since we desperately wanted someone to photograph our wedding and she was willing to come, wear a mask and maintain a distance so we hired her. OH MY GOD WE ARE SO LUCKY. THESE PICTURES BELONG IN A MAGAZINE. I am not just saying this, she is so good. I have had pictures taken professionally before and it is so awkward, I normally feel so uncomfortable, hate the way I look, my poses, etc. The pictures she captured were flawless. Stacy was professional, prompt, helpful, and boy is she talented - just the best experience possible. It was beyond our expectations. People are still contacting me months after to tell me how great our photos look - like, friends of friends and beyond. People we don't even know are contacting me about these pictures. Hire Stacy! If you are looking at this and would like to talk to me, please ask Stacy for my contact information so I can answer any of your questions, I am happy to connect and give a glowing recommendation. This was the best part about our wedding.

Not only is she is incredibly kind, with a remarkable ability to put people at ease, but she also overdelivers with her images in every way. The way she captured our engagement session and a full weekend of wedding festivities blew us away and is something we'll cherish forever. Even our guests commented on how she really got in the action and captured the dance floor without impacting the vibe, and those are some of our favorite photographs from the night. My parents also could not stop raving about what a delight she was and how painless she made the process of many formal photos. It is true that you will spend more time on your wedding day with your photographer than anyone else - and there is not a better person to have by your side than Stacy.

I know that some photographers are tough to work with, maybe over-controlling, not flexible with situations, unclear business perimeters, whatever. Kiersten was a delight to work with, she's creative and open to how the family wanted things done so it fit their personality and preferences, and was so flexible to changes of personal and timing of the wedding events. I like that she sends some immediate sneak peak finished product pictures for the client to look at while in anticipation to see the rest of the portfolio. The portfolios do come promptly and turn out simply perfect. Her business is run smoothly and she works with clients so they are getting the maximum satisfaction in their purchased time, and works tirelessly through the end for quality results. Kiersten is an absolute joy to work with; I would recommend her to anyone in that area in need of a delightful, professional photographer. Thank you for doing the event Kiersten!

Sexy photography…read more That's how I describe Cate's style when telling others to give her a call. I literally used those words yesterday when I told an alcohol distributor to holler her way. Flames, knives cutting meat, laughter, beer, centerpieces, bathrooms, bluegrass - you name it and Cate can make it look 50% sexy and 50% mysterious and I can't get enough of her images! (give her a follow on Instagram). In addition to meat and flame photos, you can holler at Cate for stunning wedding and engagement images. Last but not least, she is super easy to work with - I'm often concerned that I don't provide enough direction or details (one of my weaknesses) but Cate runs with it and makes the magic happen every time.

On both occasions, I got my images back quickly, but they were not done hastily. That day came and the moment we had our date and venue I reached out to book with Jonathan for our special day on 10/19/2018. Our magical day has come and gone and we can't say enough good things about Dappy Hays! From the regular communication, customizing of our logo with two different photos from our trip to Venice a year prior, selecting props that reflected our individual tastes and personalities...Jonathan was incredibly responsive and collaborative every step of the way! We only had to make sure there was enough space at our reception venue and a chair and Dappy Hays provided everything else!!! Our wedding guests were continuously commenting on how much fun the team was, they would then tell us "we can't wait for you to watch our video message! That was so unique and fun!" Even a couple individuals asking for their contact information for future events! At the end of our night, Jonathan presented us with our memory album of photo-strips with notes from guests, as well as our USB drive of all the photos and videos, along with big hugs of well wishes for each of us! Flipping through that completed album together and seeing and reading so much love from our family and friends before turning in for the night was the greatest end to our perfect day! Booking with Dappy Hays ANY time a photo booth is needed is a no-brainer! Thank you to Jonathan and the entire Dappy Hays team for helping make our day so magical!

Her guests LOVED it, and now my daughter has some really great photos of people who were at the wedding. Dappy Hays' staff came dressed professionally (no jeans or T shirts), were there on time and tore down without disturbing the vibe of the wedding -- I don't think I even noticed they were packing up. Their selection of props was great -- it brought out a side of my son that I'd never seen, and that's a great thing, because he's normally very quiet and shy, and boy, did he let loose! I laugh every time I se those pictures. :-) All in all, we were really happy to have gotten the photo booth, and I'd hire Dappy Hays again if I needed them.

During a time where it seems as if no one around you is calm, Christa holds it together. She is genuinely cheering on your marriage, not just the single-day celebration at hand. And, of course, her work is beautiful. It is what initially drew me to her. It's warm, colorful, and bright, like you can feel the sunshine coming through the photograph. She not only does her job well but she just simply goes above and beyond. I would recommend Christa whole heartedly and without reservation! Thank you so much Christa, I hope we cross paths again someday!

The reviews were spot on. She was funny and sweet and very committed to making our wedding special and capturing it perfectly. I'm pretty sure the first time we talked on the phone she said something along the lines of "if you decide to work with me..." and we were like "yes. we are working with you. No question." I'm so happy we found her and she ended up having our date open! My husband (!) and I both felt kind of awkward going into the engagement shoot that is included in the package, but we left feeling so relaxed and ...basically giddy. She just knows how to get you laughing and going with the flow while capturing beautiful shots. She was also very communicative despite hiring her well in advance, for example, sending us an version of a wedding timeline and a magazine created by her helping with decisions like whether to do a first look or not. We also got the photo booth from her (one of the best decisions ever! I had so much fun with it and so did the guests) as well as adding on the second photographer (her husband Devin). If you want a photobooth it makes sense to do it with her because she has a deal for booking both things together. Having Devin as the second photographer was also a good decision. Devin was just as great, and it was nice to have a photographer with the groom side while they were getting married as well as capture different angles of the entire wedding. I can end with this: Jasmine (and Devin) are both amazing photographers, but they also go beyond. For example, it was raining on and off, and they figured out exactly when to get beautiful rain pics, or beautiful non-rainy pics outside, found a large bag to put under my dress so that it wouldn't get destroyed while taking outside rainy pics. That kind of can-do DIY attitude paired with their skill is what truly seals the deal.
