It's intimidating...the science of vaping, the jargon, the millions of options. When I walked in, the staff must have known that "new vaper" look on my face, because they immediately made me feel welcome and at home. They set me up with a mod in my price range and taught me the basics right there in the shop. I've moved around the country a bit since that first visit, and no other shop I've been to came close to this level of comfort and courtesy. Vape snobs are a real thing lol, but they don't exist at SmokeScreen...just laid back all the way. I've never been pressured to buy something I didn't want, or to buy a more expensive version of what I did want. They'll make recommendations if you ask for them, but they don't push anything on you, EVER. Not only is it the best vape shop I've visited, but it's probably my favorite store, period. Their home brew e-juices are amazing, too. The prices are totally reasonable, about half what you'll pay for a "premium" brand...but Wrecking Brew /is/ a premium brand imo. The flavors are as good or better as the top of the line juices, and they're so easy on my coils, no gunking or bad taste, ever. I went in recently and misread a promo sign and thought they were discontinuing Wrecking Brew and I almost had a panic attack lol, they are so damn good. Whether you're new to vaping or a vet, if you haven't checked out SmokeScreen, do yourself a favor and take a look. Great store, amazing people.

Chris did an excellent job of walking me through the selection process of my first setup and explaining how everything works together. He was more concerned about me enjoying my purchase than selling me the most expensive gear. I was also pleasantly surprised when we brought in my husband's broken mod for evaluation. (Can't remember his name to save my life rigjt now. Sorry!) We mentioned something wonky about mine, and the owner replaced it for the difference of what I paid on the original. I wound up with store credit that we applied to my husband's new mod. He was just as focused on my satisfaction rather than selling me the most expensive gear. Their juices are all commercially made. Although you can't have them make special blends, you do get a flavor consistency from bottle to bottle. This also provides a degree of safety to the customers. It should also be noted that they have a full "juice bar". Every flavor sold is available to sample with zero nicotine. They also provide mouth pieces for sanitation. Some shops may provide illicit substances in their mixes. This is especially important for military customers due to regular drug testing. My husband and I had been a tad worried about the potential for accidentally putting some in his juice. The sealed bottles here helped provide some reassurance in that department. I was in the shop when another customer told us about having an unexpected trip because of that very scenario.
