I could not swim any laps but I did my best going wall to wall in the main pool. They are also shooting 2 spouts of water out across the pool now. The kid's love it. But, they have a complete fitness gym, pilates and yoga studios, aerobics classes, spin classes, aquatic classes, personal trainers, and more. Our yoga community is very supportive, so I am always encouraged to go to class even when it's cold out or raining, etc. I am a "senior" & so there is something there for people of all ages. We have a 85-year old who regularly comes to yoga with the rest of us. But, the kids can play basketball or tennis, work-out in the gym, or swim in the pool.

A forgettable Y, old and run down and needs a major facelift. Definitely one of the less enjoyable YMCAs I've used and despite how old and run-down it is, it's also busy so you will have to wait for certain things on certain days at certain times more than you would in the average YMCA location. And some of the other members are not so friendly. A good parking lot though, and nobody bothers you in it if you're hanging out in it for awhile.

The outdoor pool area consisted of - Large pool section that went from 3+ feet to 5 feet - 13 foot area with a diving board - Lazy river - 2 water slides About 40% of the area where you can sit is shaded (either trees or a canopy). I can tell that people came early to snag those spots. It's a very nice and well maintained facility. One thing to be aware of is that there is no re-entry. So make sure you bring everything from the car you need the first time. There is plenty of parking. Overall we had a great time and next time we will go closer to the time they open to get a shady spot.

I exchanged multiple emails to get her enrolled, and while I was asked to sign forms, none of them clearly stated that I would be automatically charged for future months. I was surprised and frustrated to see a charge for January, a month I never intended to sign up for. I was also disappointed in the "Mom and Me" class itself. The class included older children and the activities were not developmentally appropriate for an infant. The session essentially became unstructured water exposure time--something I can provide on my own without paying for formal lessons. We have tried another class at a swim school elsewhere (swimkids) when I was visiting my parents and the quality and structure were significantly better. I am extremely upset about the misleading auto‑enroll practice. After I raised concerns, a staff member named Michelle called me and referenced documents I had signed, yet none of those documents explicitly state that I was agreeing to automatic renewal. As a consumer, I believed I was paying for a single month of classes in December--not entering into an ongoing subscription. The language used is ambiguous at best and feels intentionally unclear. Between the lack of transparency in your billing practices and the underwhelming class experience, I am very disappointed. I will be sharing my experience with other parents so they can make informed decisions before enrolling their children.

Water is warm enough so there is no need to acclimate to colder temperatures. Lessons are in small groups. My only issue is the upkeep of the facility. The locker room perpetually has ceiling tiles missing. Sometimes the toilets don't flush, sometimes there is no hot water in the shower. The locker rooms are very sparse with only one bench and some hooks. In theory, this space has SO much potential. With a small investment, this facility could be very busy. They would need to make only a few mainly cosmetic enhancements to make this place really successful and attractive to people who like the convenience of an indoor full size pool for swimming and exercising, as well.

The pool area is pretty big, so you can have space to yourself even with classes and trainings going on.
