I want to add I had to edit my factual and truthful review because this company had a lawyer contact me threatening to sue me if I didn't edit my reviews. Since I have to add more to the review. In addition if anyone is interested in seeing this for themselves I'd be happy to schedule a tour. In the prior review I forgot to mention they used toggle switches which is a example of the inferior products used for their construction projects. I wouldn't think I had to specify in the contract to use Decora switches and receptacles being they were primarily used prior to 1974. Very happy with Hudson Valley Home Source. They just completed our forever home and we couldn't be happier. The house is beautiful and is exactly what we pictured. Our site was very difficult and presented a few unexpected challenges, but the HVHS team handled everything professionally and was very fair to us. The whole process start to finish was very close to the timing we were provided even with the site challenges we dealt with. Terrible! We waited over 2 months for Jennifer to get back to us and she just stopped responding. She seemed bothered by our following up. Don't know how they stay in business but I am sure happy we didn't start something with them, pretty sure it would have not been good. Good luck to anyone trying to use them! read more
