He sent me a contract which, after we had discussed the project, I signed and gave him a $1000 deposit. He promised that he would have something for me by "Friday or Monday at the latest." About 2 weeks later, he emailed to say that He was having personal problems (in detail!) but again promised to have something for me by "Friday or Monday at the latest." I haven't heard a word since. That was over 2 months ago. I have asked for my deposit back since he is not doing anything but I get no response. I would give him negative stars if I could. Do not hire this man!

Mary (the Ting in the Springer & Ting) did some minor tweaking - walling off a doorway, shifting another - to achieve full functionality within a very tight space. The second - we were having a colonial home built, and wanted a more open floor plan on the first floor, and more equal-sized bedrooms on the 2nd floor. Mary redid the builder's layout completely, placing bathroom and laundry in the interior so that more light would be available for the breakfast area at the corner of the house. The builder (who did not normally like working with architects) was impressed, as the final design was very "buildable" and sensible (from his perspective). We couldn't be happier.
