Update to my previous review. -----------------------…read moreI hate to give this place a bad review because they have a great hygienist in Denise, but do not go to Dr. Khanpara if you're suffering from tooth-related pain. Last year during a routine examination, I complained that I had a minor toothache in an old crown. X-ray showed that I had a minor infection. I was sent home and didn't think anything of it. I thought it would go away on its own. Days later, I started feeling more pain, so before things got any worse, I went back to the office and saw Dr. Khanpara. I told her about my tooth pain and about the infection, and I asked her to prescribe antibiotics to make sure that the infection didn't get any worse, but she refused to do so. She just told me to take painkillers and see an endodontist. I couldn't see the endodontist for a few days because they didn't have an appointment available, but I was in so much pain the next day that I went to another dentist who took a look at my tooth, saw the infection, and the first thing she did was prescribe antibiotics. Sure enough, within a day the toothache was gone, which made the wait for the endodontist somewhat tolerable. Cut to last week when my wife had the same thing happen to her. She went to see Dr. Khanpara complaining of a toothache. They took X-rays and found that she had an infection in an old crown. My wife was in a lot of pain, but instead of prescribing pain medication or an antibiotic, she was sent home because she didn't have a fever. But my wife didn't have a fever because she had been taking Tylenol, which may have been masking the fever. Dr. Khanpara even told her that antibiotics wouldn't make any difference with the pain! My wife was in so much pain that she went to see another dentist the very next day, who again saw what was wrong and immediately prescribed antibiotics. And the same thing happened: her pain was gone the next day, and now she's ok to wait until she sees an endodontist to treat her crown. I don't know if this is company policy not to prescribe antibiotics or if this is a personal issue Dr. Khanpara has against antibiotics, but I don't think she's ever suffered from a toothache. It's either that or she lacks basic human compassion. Safe to say that we will never be going back.

I need periodontal maintenance too so I go there at least four times a year. My last cleaning was completely painless and I'm not the greatest flosser.... I've never had issues with any of the staff. I am never "up sold" on anything like whitening, etc.; in fact, I just came from an appointment with the endodontist (nice, funny, and handsome), thinking for sure I'd need a root canal, only to find out that I don't. Money back in my pocketbook:) I feel badly that the others here on yelp have had bad experiences, but I would recommend the team at Friendly Dental to anyone. I've watched them grow over the years and have only seen customer care improve along with the growth. My whole family and I even drive an hour to get here now, having moved out of the area. Highly recommend!

In these days where medical services seem to be a numbers game, I do not see that at Bolton Family Dental. I see a practice where they greet you warmly with a smile and demonstrate they care. Today I watched them help a patient with disabilities and kept this person calm while helping them to and helped load the patient into their vehicle. Most cosmetic dentists I've met referred me to oral surgeons for tooth extractions, bone grafts, and implant surgery. The dentist only provides the implementation of the cosmetic teeth. I was quoted $45,000 for the oral surgery procedures and $45,000 for the dentist by four separate dental practices. Two of the practices didn't offer anesthesia, only novocaine and Xanax. One prosthodontist who didn't offer anesthesia actually told me that pulling all of my teeth and inserting metal implants into my jawbone wouldn't hurt! The dental assistant Lori & my dentist Dr. Platt truly changed my mind about going to the dentist! I made the appointment at the recommendation of my niece who had been seeing Dr. Millett for years and loves him. I learned while making the appointment that Dr. Millett does the Business portion of the practice and no longer practices dentistry. I had an appointment today at 11:40 AM and arrived at 11:20 in order to fill out the paperwork. I was seen at 12 PM and had x-rays but a very professional dental hygienist by the name of Frankie and then I met Dr. Fiect Who examined me, stated that I needed all types of dental work and then said he had no time today to fix my Loose bridge. I insisted that the reason I attended today was because I was medically concerned about it. Because I pressed, he attempted to remove my bridge and then informed me that he would not be able to do so without damaging all the teeth around it. He then asked me if it made me feel any better he could give me antibiotics between now and my next visit if I was concerned about infection. Then I was told that they did not have time to clean my teeth today. I've never had this experience in my entire life. I quickly called my former dentist and made an appointment for Monday morning at 8 AM in order to address my medical concern, and then I filed a formal complaint. Something is seriously wrong there and I informed, my niece that Dr. Millett is no longer the acting dentist.
