Quality food ruined by cook that is only concerned with slinging it out. Ordered breakfast and 2 of the 3 eggs that I ordered over- medium were undercooked and slimy. The third was OVERCOOKED! Never seen 3 eggs all cooked together in a small egg pan turn out that way. The biscuit was microwaved and like rubber. The hash browns were like the eggs overcooked on the outside and a mound of undercooked potatoes in the center. The waffle was good and was cheap, but took FOREVER for the food to get there. And the biscuit was hard as a rock. Won't go back!

If I could give 0 stars I would. The service here is terrible. As one of only a handful of customers in the place, I sat for several minutes while people behind the counter just stared at me with blank looks. Finally a woman who identified herself as a dish washer came to my table. She informed me that she could only bring me a drink though. After a few more minutes the waiter finally showed up after chatting with other employees behind the counter. As he was approaching my table, a pair of men got up and left without placing an order. The waiter laughed about it. I placed my order, and was surprised that my food came out fairly quickly. But only part of my meal was brought out. As I got my food though, a group of 3 people walked out without ordering and the waiter laughed about it again. As I cut into my eggs I noticed that the whites were still raw. I had asked for over medium. I waited for the waiter to return and then showed him the eggs and informed him that I wouldn't be eating or paying for my food. I then got up to leave and as I was getting to the door another employee who identified herself as a manager asked me if I wanted them to cook me some more eggs. I declined and informed her of the terrible service that I had received. I will not be returning to this location and would not recommend anyone else go there either. read more

Garbage...the waitress was incompetent. The order was all wrong, the bacon was undercooked. Then it took 10 minutes of standing at the register for someone to ask if I was ready to pick up my order/pay. The sweaty cook was touching the food with his bare hands, and had no hair net for his long hair. The woman who seemed to be in charge was unprofessional. Need I go on? read more

This place is only get a 1 Star because I can't give no stars. We sat at the bar and visualized everything. First off I will say the waitress was really nice but there is no way I'd eat here. In the 20 minutes we sat there not one person washed their hands. I explained to the waitress what hepatitis A was and that we would not risk it. We watched the cook continually pull up his pants, while he handled food with no gloves including pull up his pants, wipe the sweat off, then use his finger to scrape butter onto a baked potato and then handle sausage to throw in a to go box. All without gloves or hand washing. We watched the waitresses clean tables without gloves including handling the chemicals to wipe them down and then no washing of hands as they prepped and handled waffles and condiments for food that they then served for people to eat. The only person who had gloves was the guy cooking eggs and they were never changed. This will be getting reported, not just on Yelp but health inspection as well. read more

Every time I go to this restaurant it is busy. The food is great. The employees are very nice and helpful. This restaurant needs to be bigger. The manager there is new and she was running everywhere helping customers. I was getting dizzy watching her. Monahans needs more people like her. read more

Worst Huddle House I have ever visited. Took forever to be waited on. Drinks orders were wrong an not fixed never offered a refill. Ordered the chopped steak, the meat was burnt the gravy was like paste. Had chili as a side, it tasted as if it came from a can an was lukewarm. The waitress acted as if she didn't care at all. It was my daughters first visit and a huge disappointment. read more

Worst short-order place ever. We got seated, and then the booth next to us got seated 5 minutes later. Our server Stephaniee (yes, two "e"s) took our order within 5 minutes of that, but then proceeded to take other orders (including the next booth) before submitting our order. Then she brought us the incorrect beverages. Not sure if she completely forgot to enter our order, but the next booth got their order in 20 minutes (30min since we've been seated). 30min after that, the next booth was done eating and we still had not been served!!! The order for our 4yr old was buttered toast with jam!!! We got up and walked out. Stay away from this small-town place that obviously doesn't know how to service customers. 0 stars but Yelp forces me to give at least one. read more

We eat at huddle houses all over the south. This one was the filthiest restaurant we have ever been in. The food was good. The service was mediocre. But non of that forgives the filth. I wouldn't even use the ladies room and will not go into detail about that. :( The fans had never been cleaned. The floor was disgusting and someone was attempting to dust it with a filthy mop and was shaking dust all over the place while we were eating. The seats were not cleaned. The window sills had layers of dust and dirt on them. There were a lot of employees who seemed more interested in eating,gabbing and talking on their cell phones. There was actually a manager in duty who we saw once and then ran back to her office. It was a shift change and appeared to be a lot of confusion about that. We waited way to long to get service. We will never return to this HH and corporate needs to get involved and fire everyone. Board of health needs to be a thorough inspection also. read more

The waitresses were quick to get my order and were friendly even though it was quite busy. Once i placed my order it took a little longer then expected to get my food.My omelette was ok not great. The hashbrow and toast were alright.They really need to get some better coffee though. The coffee just does not have much flavor. Not a bad place for breakfast just not like the small mom and pop restaurants that i really enjoy. read more
