Service was quick and convenient the server was polite just one person at 2 am and our food was quick and it wasn't the most flavorful but some salt n pepper worked like a charm the biscuit are fluffy and the chicken tenders were crispy and had good flavor my husband wasn't a fan of the dirty Dr Pepper but he's use to the sonic one overall for a 24hr dinner it sure beats gas station food definitely be going back again ! This may be a little lengthy. This Huddle House was great for us until we started dining outside with our friends. Once we did that we started being treated like we were just a nuisance. My wife and I are now local to this restaurant, visit every day, always order food, always tip, joined the rewards program and are always courteous but for management and some of the servers your status changes from a paying patron to like someone with a plague once you start dining outside. When you do get served some of the servers have to debate on "who is going to have to go outside to wait on you". Some servers have refused to come out at all. I think they like to try a persons Christian patience. That was our experience over the summer moving on to now... Well, in October we were starting to be told many variations of rules by management and servers about outside patio dining service. There have never been any signs put up on the patio with details about the patio service changing on any certain date so ALL patrons would know. First we were told some servers didn't have to come out at all because a Vietnam Veteran and his wife who visited were too offensive. Next we were told in late October that on November 1st if you wanted to eat outside on the patio after dark you would have to come in and order and then when your food or drink was ready you would have to come in and get it since it would be to dangerous for the servers to come outside. November 1st rolled in and the rules changed again. Now as of this morning I went in to order my wife and I a drink and some food I was told very promptly by a server that "technically since the patio is closed I am not supposed to serve you at all". I asked "if a group of church people came in on a pretty Sunday afternoon and sit down outside you wouldn't wait on them?" I received a very harsh and rude response "the patio is closed". The management and the servers say this is all what the owner has instructed. My guess is that since the rules change about as often as the weather the owner "Terry" has no idea what's going on. Servers can't come outside to serve you but there seems to be no problem for them or the manager to be outside smoking. There used to be a very nice Huddle House in Central City that had an outside patio put in by the owner so patrons could enjoy the food and pretty weather but now its just a Peyton Place with wishy washy rules. And believe me if you think the patio is for dining and friendly service then think again and I'd go somewhere else. I feel confident we will no longer support this store due to it not being run to standards and also the backlash I am sure I would receive for writing this review. We were headed to Lexington for the weekend and wanted a quick breakfast on the way. We usually never stop at a chain restaurant but Huddle House was close. Place was pretty full and we were greeted right away. Waitress dried our freshly cleaned table and got drinks right away. We split the smokehouse breakfast and everything was delicious. Very friendly and prompt service. Will definitely eat there again. read more

Disgusting location! They didn't wash pans after cooking each meal, just sprayed cooking spray on it everytime. One of the servers was assisting the cook & she kept wiping her hands on her clothes as she was touching food with her bare hands! Hence, why I got sick after eating here. Never again! read more

The cook and waitress were amazing but when then new manager came in the mood changed. He seemed to hold some kind of personal issue with our waitress who had been working hard and nothing but helpful the entire night. My suggestion to upper management would be to interview your employees better before just making them managers. Staying in a hotel next door to this restaurant made our decision to go here quite easy. We weren't too disappointed. The food was pretty good and service was as good or better than expected. The wife's salad was very good. Good amount of substance, and tasted fresh. Was larger than most side salads. The grilled chicken was just ok. It was two very thin pieces that appeared to be about 2.5 ounces. It requires lots of pepper for me to consider it tasteful. In my opinion, it was not a juicy grilled chicken breast. The baked potato was very good. It was done completely and very fluffy. Fried orca was good. Kinda hard to mess up fried orca. My boys both got waffles that they loved. Large waffle and smelled delicious. The bacon was better than the sausage. The service was really good. We were greeted with a "welcome to Huddle House" when we walked in. The waitress was really kind and stayed on top of refills. I couldn't really ask for any better. The place appeared to be clean. Some food under one table, but could have just been dropped before we walked in. Bathroom was fine and stocked. Overall it was pretty good choice considering we were able to just walk to it and grab a quick meal. $32.91 for the four of us. read more

Very poor service. The cooks have no mask and are wearing sweatpants and slip on shoes. The other cook came out of nowhere and has absolutely no huddle house attire and is in a long leather jacket with a hat and sunglasses. Nobody is wearing mask. We got changed servers than changed back because she "didn't know where the other girl went". no body is wearing the required shoes and again no mask in sight. read more

I use to eat there every night when I get off from second shift rotation. this last time will be my last. The server was very rude was walking around saying Im not putting up with this shit tonight throwing forks into dirty dish water that was flying onto the grill. Brought out my order witch was a mega bacon burger And onion rings. This is call the mega burger because of how much it has on it Well i waited about 45 minutes the place was not even busy. Then I got the most awful looking plate of food I've seen yet in 45 years the onion rings where burnt i mean burnt plan as day And the burger was nothing but bread and 2 pieces of over cooked meat none of the toppings to the burger where even on it. And this little smart mouth girl server was snotty enough to say enjoy your meal as if I could see that it was burnt near black. So I left the plate untouched on the table paid for it and left. Sat here for over an hour before my food order was taken. There were four people in our party it was ridiculous our cook had to take our order because our server seemed to be strung out. There were several tables not cleaned off and the counter/bar was full of dishes even though there were only two tables eating when we got here. Seriously ridiculous. UPDATE: If it weren't for the cook Jessie and the server Jessie our food would have not been made :( We waited over 2 1/2 hours for our orders! This place is a staple for my family...the food, yes, is average but the service and environment is always great. The wait staff know us by now since we frequent this place several times a month, and they are always friendly. We've tried this restaurant twice and both times the service was SO POOR and the food wasn't anything great either.

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. It took the waitress about 20 minutes to realize that we were sitting there waiting. And once she got our drink orders, that took 30 minutes to get. After about 45 minutes she comes back to take our order. Once our order was put in, it took about another 45 minutes and I was fed up for the wait, so I decided to get my order to go.
