Unlike the…read morefirst time when using the Walmart+ app worked flawlessly, this time the app failed because the initial charge on my credit card failed because of a decline due to a security concern. I was able to respond by text that the $1 authorization was legitmate, but from that point forward, the app would not authorize. Without that, I wasn't able to use the pump initially since I don't have a Sam's Club membership. But the nice attendant was able to help, bypassing the membership check and I was able to fill up. Cost was $51.75 for 11.737 gallons at $4.41 for 93 octane. I did try to create a new business entry for this specific fuel station but as sometimes happen, the Yelp AI combined it into the Sam's Club warehouse store.

This could be a Gold Mine, but their Super Heroes and especially Superman merchandise is cheap in quality and extremely expensive. Poor selection of garbage made in China of course. Such a waste. That being said the place is in serious need of a thorough cleaning, and some good management. Employees are all like 'The Walking Dead'. Metropolis my ass. It's more like the Dark Knight...Between the trash overflow in the Men's Room, and my personal favorite when they put a garbage bag over the urinal. Bring in some fresh merchandise and have a few specials. Quiznos is right next door, that's the only place I'll eat when I stop there. It needs a facelift too. Bottom line is I'm not paying 13$ for a Superman Coaster or 7$ for a can of Starbucks. Geez. Looks like they have been hit with Kriptonite. Just do better man.

For downright delicious fried chicken you just can't beat this Reidland grocery's deli! And I'm…read morenot alone in feeling this way either. Just this past Sunday I was in line with four people ahead of me when the person in front of me bought the last chicken. The kitchen was frying up another batch and the friendly young lady at the counter took my order saying it would be about 13 minutes for the fresh chicken to be ready. Before she could hardly write down my order 6 more customers came up and also asked for fried chicken. Then the announcement was 11 minutes. Before the 8 minute mark arrived 4 more people got in the cue to order more chicken! She announced that those last people might have to wait for another fresh batch. But this wait time did nothing to deter their enthusiasm for the delectable chicken that is different than KFC or any other restaurant in town. Besides chicken they offer other hot food that varies from day to day. In the cold deli case they have potato salad, chicken salad, jello salad, cakes, pies, and multiple choices of food to go. One of my faves are the pecan coconut cookies which are baked there and not too soft or too crispy but chewy and delightful. But I am focusing too much on the Delicatessen but this store also has a handy assortment of hardware items and paint. The workers are nice and helpful too. Overall if you check prices you can save money and avoid the big box stores.

The prices listed on the shelf are not always what rings up at the register. This happened to me three times last year, and it was never in my favor. I'm sure most of you are like me and keep a mental tally of what you are spending while shopping. It is frustrating when I think I roughly know what the cashier will ask for doesn't come anywhere near what they actually ask for. I do recommend shopping here, but you should have them scan the wine bottle for price before having them ring it up.
