You go outside of Lexington and the Speedways are much nicer. Maybe it's because they're larger, and that gives them room for their inventory. Half of the time you're turning sideways to get through this store because of the displays that they don't have room for in the first place. Just another junk hole in the retail world. And the lines... there's always a line. It doesn't matter how many employees that are in the store "working". I actually went in once recently, the line was wrapped around the sales island, 1 employee was on the register, and the other 3 that were there were outside of the building, standing near the door smoking. Apparently, proving that you're oblivious to customers is a plus when you ask for a job here. And believe me, they're good at it. Granted, not everyone here is like this, but the majority are. I miss the crew that was here a few months back. Pretty good people that you could actually talk to, and they didn't act like you didn't exist. But apparently due to the takeover by 7-Eleven, it's a bad place to have to work now, and nobody stays for more than a couple of months. At least, that's what I was told. I suppose that with that kind of outlook, I might not take a job here too seriously, either. I'm glad to see that other companies are now moving into Lexington, because this place is dying a slow death. The only reason I even stop here is because their smokeless tobacco (I know, I need to quit) is normally cheaper than anywhere else, but I'm questioning whether that's even worth it anymore. Paying a little more in exchange for avoiding the aggravation doesn't seem like a bad thing now that I think about it.

I was able to find the slushie fine with three size options in see through plastic cups. After pouring it, I proceed to the register where I asked the clerk if mine was the biggest size. She stated that I could have used ANY cup (even the ones used for soft drinks). THEN WHY DOES IT ONLY HAVE THREE CUP SIZE RIGHT UNDER THE SLUSHIE AREA?! That is soooooo misleading. Please put a sign that states that one can use the beverage cups as additional sizes to buy the slushies. I could have used a BIG GULP size slushie if it was allowed. It is hot and humid in KY and slushie machines are the only way to survive the heat.

In a judgey voice and we told him it was a choice. Then this other guy walked out and said "so are you gonna pay for those drinks? You know we have cameras right?" And we pay for our snacks after telling them we didn't steal the drinks and they said "well we believe you" and we go out get my friends mom she goes in there and they hadn't checked the cameras beforehand and said " we checked the cameras were so sorry" like I get it kids our age can be idiots but at least check the cameras first? And the only reason it's two stars is cause those Cheetos and the redbull was good. But yeah the workers should probably check the cameras before accusing children. While of course I get the fact some cannot be caught if they check the cameras beforehand. I don't much appreciate me or my friend being accused of something so frowned upon after being taught Christian views my entire life.

She checked around the area and then called the store that was showing it in stock to verify it was all there. She then transferred the Rx to that store over the phone and it was ready for me by the time I got there. I appreciated the effort and speed in which she took care of my situation and did it professionally, never acting as if I was an inconvenience as she also had other customers in line behind me. She was able to take care of them quickly and then resolve my issue as well! Great service! Tysm!!

I've been a Walgreens customer for about 15 years, but after today I'll be moving my prescriptions…read moreelsewhere. I went through the drive-through to pick up a prescription that the Walgreens app and a text message both confirmed as "ready for pickup." There was only one car in front of me, yet I sat for 30 minutes before anyone acknowledged me. When I was finally greeted, I was told my prescription wasn't ready and that it would take another 30-45 minutes. When I expressed my frustration, the employee rolled her eyes at me. I work in customer service myself, so I understand things happen -- and I even told the employee "I know this isn't your fault." But if Walgreens can't support the drive-through due to staffing, it shouldn't be open. What frustrated me even more was the conflicting information: the app showed my prescription was filled once I left, while I was being told it wasn't even ready. Later I called the store to try to resolve it, waiting on hold for 1 hour and 31 minutes before anyone picked up. Again, I explained I wasn't upset at the employee personally, just at the situation. But instead of empathy or real help, I was met with rudeness and dismissiveness. At one point I was even asked, "Do you want me to fill it or not?" in a tone that made me feel brushed off. All I wanted was help transferring my prescription and to confirm my refill count was correct, since the app showed my prescription was filled today, even though it wasn't. Instead, I was told flat out, "Just call Walmart, they'll do it." Technically Walmart can initiate a transfer, but Walgreens still has to provide the information. Rather than taking ownership or even offering to help, the employee pushed it off on me and made me feel like I was a burden. I don't expect perfection, but I do expect honesty, timely service, and basic respect. Unfortunately, Walgreens failed on all three today. When I called Walmart's pharmacy, a real person answered and resolved my issue in under 5 minutes. After this experience, I'll be moving all of my prescriptions there.
