Her practice is very busy, as are most doctor's practices these days, so you might have to wait for your turn to come up. But that's par for the course these days with our overloaded health care system. And you do have to pay for parking but you have to pay at most doctor's offices and often it's very expensive. At least at Dr. Schacter's office the parking fee isn't very expensive.

I mentioned to the doctor that I don't want the student to make it but he didn't listen. There was blood spot from an old child on the belt that they used to fix the baby. Finally there was one side much bigger than the other side, and when we came the second day to ask him about that, he was so angry and he didn't want to have a look, so he had time to take money but he didn't have time to have a look. No one will explain to you what should you do after the surgery, they will give you a paper to read. Be careful and specially if he finish by saying it is too beautiful

So although I have not had a child, he seems to me like he would be an excellent choice for a couple that's expecting. He's a very kind and sympathetic man, and he listens well. He expresses a true sadness when you come with a genuine problem or he has to deliver bad news. But this makes him very proactive and caring. He will refuse to administer certain treatmen if they pose a greater risk than other alternatives that are working. He really goes for what's best for the patient, rather than what's convenient. He performed surgery on me several years ago and there was no complications or problems with recovery. It was a very clean procedure. My only complaint is that he may sometimes have a tendency to ramble, and will sometimes struggle to explain things clearly. So long as you continue to ask questions until you understand completely, though, he won't leave anything out. It can also sometimes take a while to get an appointment

Whatever, that's on me. HOWEVER, the only way that you're allowed to book an appointment again is if you pay 60 dollars in person, and only then can you even book an appointment. You are not allowed to pay the day of your appointment, must be in advance. I offered to process the 60 dollars through online banking, or any other method, but unfortunately the only other way that they accept payment is through cheque in the mail.... which are virtually extinct. Not student friendly, not understanding of how busy and messy real life can be.
