I had a large White Pine leaning over at about 25% so sadly was time to take it down a long with a few nearby smaller ones that had died. HTS gave me the best price (the others were 15-100% higher!) and had great reviews on some local Facebook groups. Selected them but had to wait a little but as they were busy with other work but that was no problem. I can't speak more highly of this company! They took on a difficult tree removal job that many companies turned down due to its size and being so close to both our house and septic field. It's was removed methodically and carefully and for a respectable price. They even took the time to blow off all the "tree dust" that collected on our driveway and yard when the job was done. Our neighbor had some tree work done a few days ago. They might have done a fair job removing their trees; however, HTS tree care set up the chipper right in front of our mailbox/planter. Our mailbox (both inside and outside) were covered in dust, and wood chips litter our lawn. The ironic part was we live on a quiet cul-de-sac, and the chipping could have easily been done in a spot that would not have impacted any of the neighbors. I did ask the crew if they would clean up in front of our home, and they assured me they would. At the end of the day, they left the front of our home filthy. read more

This is an update of our experience in late June: In addition to having trampled several of our plantings by dragging large branches through them, the crew left 2 of our trees lopsided and also left branch debris on our sidewalk, lawns, and in the gardens. I wrote to the owner that evening to express my deep dissatisfaction. He replied that customer satisfaction is very important and that he would investigate my concerns. I subsequently had to follow up twice for a response, which finally came after over a month of silence. He offered a small refund provided that he be released from all liability. I found this to be completely unacceptable. This was an all-around bad experience. read more

Also called HTS Tree Care. We needed one tree trimmed and another removed. I left a voicemail and they followed up, came out, and gave me a quote. I shopped around and the quote was a good rate. We scheduled a time, they came out, did the work quickly and safely, cleaned up after themselves, and that was that. Good service, would recommend. read more

Very unprofessional and inconsiderate. They chipped a stump next to a line of parked cars, most of the cars had their windows open. Sawdust all over the inside and outside of the vehicles and not so much as a word to anyone about closing their windows or moving their cars. Several cars now smell like a lumber yard and now need to be detailed as a direct result. To make matters worse, when one of the office staff ran outside to close his car window, the guy saw him and blew dirt and debris right into his face from 6 feet away, then laughed after he saw how upset the guy was when he had been covered in dirt. Definitely would not recommend. To make matters worse, the owner said the worker tried to apologize which makes no sense and is an absolute lie. Apologizing is very quick and easy: I'm sorry. That's it. It's really a shame businesses like this no longer require their employees to act in a respectful manner. read more
