Stay well away From Nationwide Autocentre Hucclecote. I…read morecannot workout whether these guys are crooks or just inept. You will find cheaper service at a main dealer for a start. I have been stupid enough to use this place twice. The first time they trashed a water pump while changing a cam belt and charged for the replacement. The second time they've managed to screw up fitting a started motor, suspect that it's just not disengaging, and they've introduced an oil leak. They are, of course, denying that they've created the oil leak, but we know damn well that there was no leak prior to the work. Equally, although the leak may not be coming from the starter motr it is certainly in the vicinity of it. LEARN from my mistakes. This centre may or may not be indicicative of the Nationwide group, but it, at least, needs to close or it requires a complete change of staff.

Well the moment I took off on the X9, I thought I was on a police bike, it was so smooth, fast an comfortable compared to my 400 Burgman. After a short run, I reluctantly took it back, an said until I found out about my job situation in the local office in Bristol I couldn't arrange anything. The salesman said to let him know. Well a few months later, having been released from my contract (due to downsizing) and with a healthy inheritance (from my aunt). I contacted him and found out the same deal was available so I arranged to pick up the X9. Was I a happy chappy! All thanks to a generous trade in, offered by Frasers. I later took it to France for a short trip, then flew onto Milan for the EICMA bike show. But thats another story........................

He is very rude quoted one fixed price then when I picked the car up demanded 60 pounds more saying that's what he had quoted and then ranted and raved lick a lunatic. This is the last time I will go anywhere near this garage, which is a shame as the mechanics are good.
