I use the business banking in HSBC Retford which I've found to be far more competent than in other branches I've dealt with in the past. The branch itself is located slap-bang in the middle of the high street (Carolgate) so there's no immediate parking as it's pedestrianised. They've got self-service facilities and service counters, and it's a fairly busy branch. It's an old building which has retained a little of its original character, but with the features you'd expect of a modern bank. My opinion of HSBC as a company on the whole is very very very poor, but this branch is about as good as it gets for them. read more
