The branch is set inside an old building with lots of character. There is no disabled access so if in a wheelchair or if you have a pram it is not accessabe. The branch is compact but has everything you could need. As you enter there is a paying in machine, an atm, and a machine to print of statements and check your transactions. The counter rarely has more than 2 people working and there is usually 1 person at the desk for queries. Avoid the busy times of mid morning and mid afternoon as you could be waiting for 30minutes just to pay in money. The branch itself is situated in the centre if St Annes which is a good location but accessibility to the branch isn't great. There are steps leading to the branch which is difficult when trying to get a pram up as there is no ramp. It would be impossible for a wheelchair user to access the branch. The doors are also heavy which makes entering the branch difficult. Apart from this, the staff are friendly and helpful. The lobby area is open after closing areas during the hours 8am to 8pm so you can access the ATM machine and the paying in machine which is convenient if you wish to pay in money before or after work when the branch is closed or wish to get a statement for your account. read more
