They ask for silly things for them. So the European Union doesn't serve for anything as they don't recognize passports outside the UK. Metro Bank has got to be one of the coolest banks on the high-street, they were the first bank to…read morelaunch high-street stores in the UK in over 150 years, since then they've grown to around 77 branches, most of them are in London, but they have a growing presence north of the M25. This location in Fulham Broadway is pretty cool, the staff were friendly and attentive and printed my new card in-store, I only had to wait for a couple of minutes. I love how if you lose or have a problem with your card, you can come into store and get a new one, compared to other high street banks that make you wait for days. I was even able to leave, get a few things from Sainsbury's and come back. The store is normally open until 8 pm but as of the time of writing (September 2021), they are still on reduced hours, closing at 6 pm. I do also dislike how like all Metro Bank locations, they lack indoor cash machines, this can often mean the experience of paying in and withdrawing money is quicker, but the staff are friendly and happy to help, as quick as possible. 4* - Friendly service, the bank looked pretty good too, lacking some features but still all in all a good place to bank. All the staff I have dealt with has been very friendly and always helpful. On matters that the staff couldn't help me with straight away (such as the opening of savings account) I was made an appointment to come back another day at a time that suited me. It was nice to see a bank that still seemed to care about its customers and give them the best deals possible. Obviously I don't simply rely on their advice as at the end of the day they are a business and want you to buy their products. But when I have decided that their product is the best on the market through my own research, then I come to them and have not been disappointed with their customer service thus far.

The site's "About Us" page displays a list of officers of the company: C.A. "Andy" Wenig, Fred Swan, Allan Marks, David Michael Jacobson, and Beth Crowell - complete with portraits. The images used are actually those of high-profile executives of eBay, Inc. whose names have been slightly altered. On May 13, 2014 we contacted eBay, Inc. who informed us that there is no affiliation between eBay's executives and this business. The "About Us" page also claims that the company was founded in December 2008 by Peter Becker and Erik Holcomb. Becker and Holcomb are actually the founders of a business named Global Garage Sale, Inc. based in Winooski, VT. We confirmed on May 13, 2014 with Global Garage Sale, Inc. that neither Becker nor Holcomb are affiliated with this business. The website also advertises the business' name as "Easy Yard Sale, Inc." As of May 13, 2014 we have been unable to confirm that this business is incorporated in California, nor could we locate any local registration with Sacramento County. As of May 8, 2014, we confirmed that the address listed on this business' website of 11204 Pyrites Way Gold River, CA 95670 is not listed with the Sacramento County Assessors office. Also, the United States Post Office reports that they do not serve this address. According to the BBB Code of Advertising, "Advertisements which are untrue, misleading, deceptive, fraudulent, falsely disparaging of competitors, or insincere offers to sell, shall not be used." Additionally, the BBB Code of Advertising States "In general, advertising which uses testimonials or endorsements is likely to mislead or confuse if it is not genuine and does not actually represent the current opinion of the endorser." Prior to this nothing but glowing reviews on all site and no complaints on the BBB. How did a little company like this scam a major bank that it was a legit company or did the bank just not care?
