This is physically quite oddly shaped; its split down the middle by a half-set of stairs (well, there's 3 or 4 stairs). This has lots and lots of automated machines - more than half a dozen, including the external machines, and it can be frantically busy, though I'm not quite sure why. Its right by Five Ways, so very easy to get to.
One of the automated lot is up the stairs - one of the phone banking terminals - amongst all the booths for semi-private chats, so no one will be surprised if you head up there.
The level of personal service seems to have declined just a little bit recently, possibly because they're so busy now.
In spite of that, they're providing an invaluable service, keeping alive local banking rather than centralising everything into the town centre, so its to be supported rather than criticised. read more
