She's a clear communicator--responsive, straightforward, and the quality of her and her team's work is exceptional. There's a ton of trim work in our house, and it required extensive prep because previous owners had hand-painted over it over the years and it wasn't done carefully. Paint had built up in places, and the profiles and details were getting lost. Jan's team took the time to hand-sand, scrape, and carefully restore the trim and moldings so everything looks crisp again. The finish is pristine: clean lines, smooth surfaces, and trim work that looks sharp and intentional. They also flag issues as they see them and proactively come up with solutions. We had a few areas where previous leaks hadn't been addressed correctly and the walls were starting to bulge--and instead of just painting over it, they patched and repaired it properly so the final result looks seamless and will last. They've been wonderful to have in the house while we're living here with three little kids. Everyone is professional, kind, and respectful, and they clean up thoroughly at the end of each day. You can tell they take a lot of pride in their work, and it shows everywhere you look. We're almost done with the first phase of our project and are already considering adding a second phase because we're so in love with their work!

The biggest part was to undo the work that a previous contractor did which was totally unprofessional and incomplete. They did an amazing job with that bigger project and made quick work of the other, smaller tasks too. Even more important, they worked really clean and were super flexible: we scheduled our project when our family traveling over the holidays. This cut our project time down, since they didn't need to take down and put up plastic sheeting every day. They were able to work with our schedule, and we came back and the house was super clean, no dust or paint splatters. Wish we'd gone with them in the first place.
